A/N: Let's suppose a few things. Let us suppose that there are survivors from Torchwood One, and they are all in London, kicking back their heels and relaxing. Let us also suppose that Jack and the Doctor meet later on in Season Three. And let us suppose that the Doctor has told Jack about what happened to Rose. Martha is the odd one out!! XD enjoy.

Disclaimer: Wish I did, but I don't.

Synopsis: This is what the meeting would have been like on the telly… if I had my way.

"No way." Jack's face was distorted with violence and anger. "No flipping way." His voice was, however, calm in its precision. He began to walk fast with purpose towards a street.

"Jack! Wait," the Doctor yelled after him, running up. Martha had been taking a break to the loo, and had just appeared.

"Where you goin?" she called after the Doctor, but he ignored her.

"Jack… where are you going?" the Doctor asked him softly.

"They killed one of my best friends. I'm returning the favour," Jack shot back viciously, not even slowing in his steps.

"I'm with you," the Doctor replied with venom in his voice.

"You two!" Martha shouted.

"And what about Jones over there?" Jack shot at him, his tone intensifying and turning slightly mocking. His face now represented a sneer. "Replacement for Rose?"

The Doctor suddenly stopped and grabbed Jack's arm with an iron fist. " Oi! I am going to very kindly forget you just said that," he hissed, his mouth quivering with hidden emotion. He suddenly pressed forward into his friend's face. "No one can ever replace Rose."

Jack seemed somewhat satisfied with that response and turned back to Martha. "What?"

"Where are you two going without me?"

"We're going to go kick some Torchwood butt," Jack shouted back calmly, his hands slowly clenching into tight fists at his sides.

"Torchwood – this is about your friend, isn't it?" Martha caught up with them, furious that they had started off without her.

The Doctor threw her a deadly look as Jack replied, "Go and sit over there if you want to be useful." He pointed to a stone bench by a water fountain. Martha glanced at the Doctor, who nodded his consent – for her to sit at the bench. Jack looked at the Doctor. "20 bucks we can kill them all in less than 20 minutes."

The Doctor cracked his knuckles and rotated his shoulders. "Done," he said immediately, his voice ever so violent.

Simultaneously they began walking again, and simultaneously they stopped when Martha called after them from her seat on the bench. "Are you ditching me?" she shouted.

"Nah," the Doctor replied, somewhat carelessly.

"We'll be back," added Jack.

Jack looked at the Doctor and the Doctor looked back at him. "Should we - ?"

"Why not?"

"Yeah - "

"All right."

Simultaneously the two guys said together to each other, "Let's ditch her."

The Doctor glanced back over at Martha. "Close your eyes and count to thirty!" he shouted.

Sighing, Martha obliged.

By twenty they had disappeared into the mass of people.

What did Martha do? She had a massive temper tantrum and headed back to her place.

Did the Doctor and Jack manage to kill Torchwood?

That is something that I will not tell you.
