This is a short one shot in memory of the Virginia Tech shooting victims. We love you all and we mourn your loss. Anyone who knew people from VT I am soooooooooooooooo very sorry for your loss. The ending of this really sucks. I couldn't figure out how to end it but i think that the story is ok. Please read and enjoy.

Naruto slumped back in his seat. His professor, Orochimaru Sannin, was droning on with his lecture on some kind of philosophical mumbo-jumbo. He turned to his best friend Sasuke.

"A whole school year and this guy's still as boring as ever," he whispered. Sasuke smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, I wish something interesting would happen for once," Sasuke answered. He turned his attention back to the front. Naruto put his head down on the desk and sighed.

Suddenly, he heard a gun shot. He lifted his head up quickly and looked toward the door. Another gun shot sounded. And another and another. Each one was closer than the last one.

Sakura and Ino ran to the door of the classroom. They opened it and peeked outside. They paled and slammed the door shut quickly. They were both shaking in fear.

"There's someone going from classroom to classroom shooting people," Ino said her voice cracking in fear.

The class began to panic. People began screaming and jumping up and down. A couple tried to jump out of the window and escape. Naruto only stared into space frozen stiff with fear. Sasuke's usually indifferent expression gave way to an expression of fear rarely seen on his face.

Orochimaru's already pale face was as white as a sheet. Trying to stay calm, he walked to the front of his desk and cleared his throat. The class quieted down.

"Ok everyone, you need to calm down. Everyone just get und…" A shot rang out through the room and Orochimaru's body fell lifelessly to the floor blood leaking from a bullet wound on his head. Everyone turned to the door to see a man dressed all in black holding two automatic pistols.

The man continued firing shots at Orochimaru's lifeless body with one gun and began to fire randomly at the students.

Naruto watched in frozen horror as he heard the ear piercing scream of Hinata as she fell to the floor dead. Another scream and Ino was down. Then TenTen. Then Haku. Then Neji. He watched as one by one his friends fell like flies. Then horror struck him as he saw his best friend fall to the floor, blood leaking from the five bullets that had been shot at him. He looked at Sasuke's lifeless body numbly.

He was so numb that he didn't realize that the shooter had turned the gun on himself and killed himself. It wasn't until a policeman tried to pull him out of the class room that everything finally settled in.

He dropped to the floor and wept. He looked around for Sasuke's body but they had already removed it. He sat their just crying for about twenty minutes. Then he rose and walked outside.

Police cars were surrounding the school. Police were putting up yellow caution tape around the campus. Swat teams were crouched ready to fire in case the shooter was still alive.

Naruto spotted Sakura standing by the large Konoha College of Technology sign. She was crying. He walked over to her and embraced her. She leaned into the embrace and cried.

Other students were signing the names of the people who meant a lot to them that were killed on the sign. He guided Sakura over to the sign and handed her a Sharpie. With shaky hands she signed:

Ino Yamanaka

She stepped back and slumped to the ground crying once again. Naruto stepped forward and took a Sharpie also and signed:

Sasuke Uchiha

He stepped back and knelt down to Sakura and hugged her. He looked up to the sky.

'Hopefully you're somewhere better now Sasuke.'
