Dark Chocolate and Bananas

Blaise Zabini sat in the library window staring out the window at the rain as it trickled down the panes of glass. The soft patter of the spring rain was soothing and he did not notice her come up to him, she stood staring at him contemplatively for a minute or so, then tapped his shoulder causing him to snap his head around to stare at her.

"What do y-" he started to snap before she covered his mouth with hers. The kiss lasted a mere moment as her tongue quickly slipped between his lips, and out again. She drew her head back, smiled and ambled away. Blaise stared after her for a minute in total confusion.

"Wha-?" he managed before mentally slapping himself and darting after the girl. His long strides quickly caught up to her. He grabbed her wrist, and she turned around, and gazed up at him with large startled blue eyes.

"Lovegood?" he asked, now thoroughly confused. Blaise stared at her, taking in the wispy blonde hair, the wand tucked behind her ears, radish earring, and cork necklace. She was beautiful in an ethereal way, like the moon.

"Yes," she replied innocently, jerking him out of his thoughts.

"What was that?" he demanded of her.

"I wanted to know what kind of chocolate you tasted like," she replied dreamily. Blaise was half-bewildered and half-intrigued by her answer.

"What kind?" he inquired in spite of himself.

"Dark chocolate, my favorite," she replied in that same dreamy tone as she studied him. She cocked her head to the side, "You have really nice eyes,"

"Um, thank you," Blaise said tentatively.

"Can I go now," she asked after a pause.

"In a moment," Blaise replied, before leaning down to kiss her properly. She offered no resistance, angling her head for better access. He gently cupped her cheek with one hand, as he deepened the kiss, his tongue sweeping around her mouth to taste her thoroughly. When he pulled away, they were both breathing heavily. Her eyes fluttered open and she seemed to fully focus on him for the first time.

Blaise smirked, "Banana."

"Hn?" she asked disorientedly.

"That's what you taste like."

"Oh, okay," she stared at his mouth again, causing his smirk to widen. He dropped one final, light kiss on her lips before turning to saunter away.

"I'll see you around, Luna," he called over her shoulder.

"'Kay," she murmured staring after him with wide eyes.
