"Alright, well I'm gonna head in for the night. G'night Toph, 'night Aang." Katara chirped, standing up from in front of the campfire and walking over to Appa, where her sleeping bag was.

"Good night, Katara." Aang said happily.

An odd vibration bounced off of him. He's blushing! Toph thought. She scowled. That made her sick, the way Aang 'blushed' whenever Katara was around. It didn't just make her sick, it infuriated her.

"Please stop doing that." Toph said bluntly, once Katara was out of earshot. Aang dropped the stick he was prodding the fire with and looked up at Toph questioningly.

"Stop what?" Aang asked. Toph sighed impatiently. Numbskull.

"You know what I mean." she said sharply. Aang's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Umm…. No I don't." he said truthfully. Toph groaned.

"Just… stop doing what you were just doing!" Toph said angrily. Aang had no clue what was going on.

"What did I do?" he asked innocently. Toph couldn't stand this.

"You know, there are other fish in the sea!" she blurted out furiously. Aang raised an eyebrow.

"I don't eat fish, if that's what you mean…" Aang replied, utterly confused.

"No!" Toph slapped a hand on her forehead. His skull's thicker than I thought… Toph sighed, exasperated.

"What do you mean, then?" Aang asked. Toph took a deep breath.

"You like Katara." she blurted out reluctantly. Aang thanked the spirits that Toph couldn't see his shocked-- and blushing-- face.

"What? No, that's just… I don't like like her." Aang said awkwardly, fidgeting nervously. Toph groaned.

"Unfortunately for you, I'm not as oblivious as Sugarqueen. What I'm trying to say is that Katara isn't the only girl in the world!" Toph was almost yelling, she was so frustrated. Aang looked at her curiously.

"What do you mean?" he asked. Toph wanted to hit him on the head. Hard. That idiot!

"How thick is your skull? What I mean is that Katara does not like you the way you like her and I think you should move on." Toph crossed her arms and stuck her nose in the air. Aang frowned.

"How do you know that Katara doesn't like like me?"

"I know everything." Toph said stubbornly.

"Well then, who should I move on to?"

"… I don't know."

"I thought you knew everything."

"Some other girl, I guess!" Toph said lividly, turning away from Aang so he couldn't see her face.

"What other girl do we know besides Katara?"

"Hello?!? I'm a girl!!" Toph almost yelled, enraged.

"So are you suggesting yourself?" Aang asked impatiently.

"Well maybe I am!" Toph replied hotly, kicking the ground and forming and earth tent around her.

Aang's eyes widened. He wasn't expecting that. He frowned.

"Toph?" he called, a little more calm. She just grunted and flicked Aang into the air with a slab of earth.

"I'm sorry." he said sincerely to the earth tent as he floated back onto his feet.

"Good. You should be sorry." Toph muttered, loud enough to hear. Aang laughed quietly.

Aang sat before the fire, smiling thoughtfully to himself.
