It's been quite awhile since Kei and Yumi were involved in the thrid Ape Escape. Because of this, Yumi, the all-time famous young pop-star, has her popularity sky high. Everyone (and if not everyone) loves Yumi. Even the Pipo Monkeys who joined the Yumi Fan Club love her. But one certain Pipo Monkey is not happy about the issue: Monkey Pink.

Monkey Pink, or Pink, is one of the Freaky Monkey Five, a special elite of Pipo Monkeys formed by Specter, leader of all the Pipo Monkeys. Pink is the singer of the group. Ever since she met Yumi, flames of jealously burned Pink. When Pink got caught by Kei and Yumi, she blamed Yumi for shattering her long-life dream. And these flames burned her heart ever since.

However, someone also caught Pink (and the rest of the Freaky Monkey Five) before Kei and Yumi: Jimmy. Jimmy was the hero of the second Ape Escape, and cousin of Spike, he very first hero of the firs Ape Escape. During the third Ape Escape, Jimmy, Spike, and even the Professor were the unlikely victims of Specter's plan. When it was all over, Jimmy was quite impressed of the twins, most especially Yumi, beacuse he never expected a popular girl to catch Pipo Monkeys as well. Since then, Jimmy's eyes were on Yumi, while his ears were on her music.

As the years passed, an adventure filled with emotions is about to take place in Jimmy's and Yumi's lives.
