All That He Didn't See

An Aburume Shino Story Chapter 2

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto

Aburame Shino had seen everything, he had seen people broken and then fixed. He had seen death, he was a shinobi; death was common. He had seen broken friendships because of love -- his only friends Kiba and Hinata refused to talk to him or each other even though he had nothing to do with the whole affair. Shino spent much of his time alone with his bugs. Most of the other time was spent in the hospital because he passed out from training too hard.

When he was in the hospital he spent time thinking no matter how loud Tsunade would yell at him. Tsunade would rant about how if he didn't stop training so hard he would kill himself. Sakura usually came with a bottle of sake for Tsunade to calm her down and then she would apologize to Shino for Tsunade's behavior. Shino would lay alone trying to think of a way to bring his friends back together in his mind, he just had to train harder, faster, longer.

What he failed to see however was that harder, faster, and longer training was the damage it was doing to his body. To add to that fact he had a brain tumor, it had dangerous effects unless treated and Shino wouldn't let Tsunade treat it because he only knew he had to train. He spent too much time training and not caring, he would have never guess how much danger he had put himself in. The day he died he was doing his usual training routine as of recently. He was just starting to working with his bugs when he dropped down to the ground feverish.

Tsunade had been coming to do her usual daily check-up on the young Aburume boy but when she had made it to him it was too late he was gone. 'Idiot boy,' she thought as she looked on the scene 'who will fix them now that your dead, you at last were able to fix yourself in death.' She sighed not wanting to break the news to his parents, Kiba, or Hinata. 'Maybe they will be able to fix themselves if this opens their eyes,' Tsunade thought as she walked away hoping that in death his spirit would be at peace.
