GG: I'm sorry if the story is not accurate, I stopped Inu-yasha when the anime was over and haven't read the manga since.
Chapter One
All she could remember were wolves. Then darkness ensued, followed by what seemed like infinite silence. Suddenly something broke through; a heartbeat. She regained consciousness and looked into the face of her savoir, but she could not see his eyes, and when he spoke she could not hear his voice, only the words that flowed out. He put her down gently and began to walk away. "L-lord Se...Se.." She couldn't even remember her savior's name, and watched helplessly as he vanished into the morning fog. "W-wait for m, please!" She pleaded frantically, trying to catch up, but it was to no avail.
The young maiden sat up, drenched in sweat. "It…it was all just a dream." She sighed. She got up and walked to her neatly folded red silk kimono and pulled out a small golden box. She rubbed her fingers against it and then untied the string that kept the box closed. At first, it looked as if nothing was there, but when she held it up to the moonlight three silvery-white hairs shone enough to see.
She looked at the hairs and sighed, trying to figure out the name of the original owner of it. After a few minutes she gave up, closed the box and put it back in its original place, and went back into the bed she shared with another man; her husband. He wasn't her choice for a husband, but she was bought by him and forcilbly married.
Her husband was a lord, therefore she was a princess which made her life okay. But she was tired of being trapped inside the castle walls, like a caged bird; she wanted to fly free. Then suddenly she had an idea, she would take all the gold she could carry, her favorite kimonos and leave. Right now.
She gathered her belongings, and slipped the box into her kimono. Sneaking out of the castle was easy, as she knew every corridor and flight of stairs from living inside for so long.
When she was outside she headed for the forest right by the castle, nobody would find her there. But the gold was heavy, and she hadn't carried anything heavy in about 7 years. She sat down on an old fallen tree trunk and took a rest. Suddenly she sensed something wrong, she could her somebody sneaking around in the brush behind her.
"Hey ya pretty, whys ya all alone this late into the night?" Somebody whispered into her ear before clasping their hand over her mouth. Then she knew what it was, a common thief. She wasn't prepared for this sort of thing, and she tried to scream, but the mans hand muffled it.
"I'll be taking all of this gold, okay pretty…but first lets have some fun with you…" The man forced her down on her back, and began to pull off her kimono. She tried to kick and scream, but it was to no avail. Nobody came into this forest except for thugs and a few Ronin. She was out of luck.
Tears started to form in her eyes as the man pulled off her kimono top. "Why me?!" She mentally screamed. But before she could answer that question the man's grip loosened on her. She sat up and noticed his head was decapitated.
"Wh…who else is there!?" The girl shouted, and was answered by a soft murmur. "Me." A man with elegant long hair and piercing yellow eyes could barely be made out by the little moonlight there was. His pale skin looked even more beautiful with the moonlight hitting it. And then she knew who he was, it all came back to her in an instant. Lord Sesshomaru.
