A/N: Okay, so, last semester, we had to do a project over a book of our choosing and I chose 'Lord of the Flies' because I heard SOOO much about it and when I read it...I loved it...It was my obsession. But, back to the project. I wrote this sonnet (You might recognize the format of it if you have ever seen '10 Things I Hate About You' heehee I love that movie!!) Enjoy!

A Sonnet: From Ralph to Jack (From Good to Bad)

I hate the way you rule our island,

I hate the way you think you're sire.

I hate the way you hunt for pigs,

Instead of making fire.

I hate the way you always glare,

I hate when you make fun of Piggy.

I hate the way you say you're chief,

When you appointed that to me.

I hate it when you hurt my friends,

I hate it when you kill.

You never had a purpose,

Only that your mind is ill.

But, most of all, I hate that you're just like me,

Only, you aren't for justice or for us to be free.
