Summary/Description: A little one-shot I made about how Prue found out Phoebe's greatest fear in From Fear to Eternity. It's a little dull compared to many of the things that I write, but I was having a bit of writer's block. Maybe I shouldn't have made a big deal of finishing tonight? '

Prue sighed as she looked at the clock in the car. She was soaked, the heat blasting onto her, only managing to have dried the bottom of her hair. A thought struck her mind, and being the woman she now was, she had to look at her sister and ask. "Hey Phoebe..." she said, eye twitching slightly. "I thought your greatest fear was being trapped in an elevator. But there weren't any elevators around, so I wondered what your greatest fear is."
Phoebe sighed, exhausted both physically and emotionally. "Do I have to tell you right now, Prue?" she asked, placing her head in one of her hands. She held the fear-yes, fear- of her sister inwards. She didn't really want her mother-figure thinking of her as an idiot.
"Come on Pheebs." the oldest muttered in response, stopping and pulling over so that she wouldn't have to worry about the car at the same time. She turned, looking the youngest sister in the eyes as she prepared to speak again. "It couldn't be much worse than drowning."
"But I don't want to tell you. Can't we just get home first?"
"Okay, fine. But I'm not moving this car until you tell me." Prue replied, thumping her fingers boredly against her arms. It didn't take Phoebe too long to try to start reasoning again.
"Come on Prue, we both just got over the most frightening experiences of our lives. Can we please just get home first?"
"Either your fear of elevators isn't your real biggest fear, of you're more claustrophobic than we thought." she replied, beginning to go on until Phoebe told her.
"Okay Prue, do you really want to know?"
"Would I have stopped the car over it if I didn't?"
"And you're not going to laugh?"
"Phoebe, why would I laugh at you? I was even too afraid to say 'I love you'. Laughing at your fear is just not some thing I'll do."
"You promise?"
"Phoebe, just tell me."
Phoebe nibbled her lip a moment, feeling in a damned-if-you-do-damned-of-you-don't situation. "Fine..." she mumbled, taking a deep breath. "My biggest fear is..." she muttered, beginning to trail off.
"What is it Phoebe?"
At that moment, the youngest sister began to spew tears from her eyes- like a volcanoe.
"Phoebe?"
"My biggest fear is loosing a sister." she finally admitted, body shaking...the tears just kept falling. Prue seemed in shock.
"And it was...me?"
"Any of you." she replied, trying to stop her tears. She hadn't been able to figure out even why she was crying...but she had started and couldn't seem to stop.
"Let me tell you a little secret." Prue whispered, leaning into her ear. "I love you very much; and you can never loose me. I'll never leave you. Even when I'm gone I'll never leave you. I'll always be your big sister."
Phoebe's cries turned into sobs as she turned and placed her eyes ontop of the oldest's shoulder. "Thank you." she managed, trying without success to steady her breathing. "I never thought you'd say that to me. That's why my biggest fear was in loosing you. Because I knew you didn't love me."
"I always have. I never stopped." Prue replied, in shock at what her sister had said.
"No, Prue. You hated me. " she insisted, shaking her head.
But Prue took a breath and nodded, knowing it had been true. "I love you." she whispered, rubbing her back. Phoebe started laughing.
"Well, I feel like an idiot."
"Me too." Prue grinned, driving home quickly.
