A/N: I will put two warnings: Lara shall be with Larson in this fic. The other is that there is a bit of fun in tormenting Pierre.
Disclaimer: Would Eidos write this? Nope, I don't own Tomb Raider.
Lara smiled as she took out the key out of the elegant, black chest. It was golden with a ruby incrusted in it. Soon, she could open the door and finally see what was hidden in this ruin. She put the little object in her bag. She knew this one was not the door, but rather a trap and, at the same time, a map to reach the true door.
Her smile banished as she heard some footsteps near the hallway. She braced herself.
Those two chased her all the time since she reached Uruguay. Couldn't they fall in any trap? She cursed their sheer luck. She took out her guns.
"Are you sure she's in here, Pierre?" asked a gruff voice as the shadows appeared.
"Of course I am. After all... err... well, just follow me!" said another voice, highly French-accented.
Then, she saw the pair of men. One had a brown-haired goatee with some grey hairs on it. His skin was pale. Black eyes were his. The man himself had a black jacket, jeans and a gun. His smirk was directing at Lara. He didn't seem very strong, though.
The other one had blonde hair, blue eyes and seemed unshaven. He had a red t-shirt with a dark green jacket, as well as a jean, as his companion. He also had a nasty gun, but was stronger than his mate.
"Pierre and Larson. Hello to both of you. I think that you came for the key, am I correct?" she asked politely, and drew her guns, aiming at both of them with each gun.
Pierre grinned at her "Hello, Ms. Croft. You have guessed right. So, the key?" And he also aimed at Lara.
They were getting closer. They were now just 10 feet far from her.
"Why don't we shoot her and finish this?" Asked Larson.
"Because we could use her to get out of here!" said Pierre.
The grabbed her shoulder rudely, took the key out of the bag. Then, they threw Lara to the floor. She tried to shoot them, but Larson took her left arm and twisted it behind her back. The pain made her wince and forget about her other gun, which was retired almost delicately from her hand by Pierre.
Larson put aimed his pistol at the female archaeologist's head as Pierre went to study the door.
The door was decorated with signs that probably strange to the par of thugs that stole her. Symbols ornamented it alongside with a small lock. Pierre's eyes had an odd twinkle, his grin widening to a disgusting proportion, and took out the key.
Lara watched enraged as he started to unlock the door. She directed him a snarl, bit Larson's arm, making him forget of holding her. She kicked him in the stomach as soon as he released. Then she ran towards him.
"Do not enter the key! This door is a-" But Lara's words meant nothing to him. He had already put the key.
"Trap." sighed Lara. Then she pointed her finger at the hallway.
"I recommend you two to abandon this place as posible." As soon as she said that, the ruin started shaking, making many stones fall at the relic hunters and the archaeologist.
Lara dodged as many as she could, but could not contain her contempt at Pierre. "I have a strange feeling of Deja Vu." she said dryly.
Pierre started taking a huge interest in his feet... until he remembered the rain of stones. A big stone hitted his leg full, taking a wince from the relic hunter. He could not take his leg out. An idea came to him... an idea that made him blush. He started taking his jeans.
"I guess we are ready to get out of here." said Lara, enjoying every moment of Pierre's humillation. Larson was outright laughting until he was silenced by Pierre's glare.
The relic hunters fled with Lara Croft as their hostage.
