He had remembered.

He had started to remember all the things he had done to change me.

In secret, he had started to remember.

I had reminded him with things we used to do.

He had helped me find my mother.

And for that, I will always be grateful for.

Even if it meant jumping off a building, it wouldn't have mattered.

I needed him to remember.

And he did.

I needed him to be there for me.

And he was.

He always was the reliable sort.

And I loved him for it.

Shoot.

Did I just say that?

Um…what I meant was that I loved him as a friend. I loved Zach as a friend.

And now, queue the "Yeah, right."

But that's beside the point.

I wanted, and I needed, him to remember.

I didn't want to be forgotten.

It hurt.

It pained.

And so, I tried to make him remember.

And he did.

He remembered the secrets we shared.

He remembered the ways that I had developed.

He remembered the cruelties that we had faced.

And even if the details were blurry, I was trying.

He was trying.

And it helped.

It helped a lot.

Zach, if you're listening, remember something.

You know who you are. You like who you are. And you like who I am.

And I like who I am.

So, I'm glad you like me.

Even if it isn't in the way I would have wished.

Did I just say that? Again?

Boy, I need to work on these secrets.

But I digress.

Zach, I'm just glad you remembered.

And I'm so glad you don't regret it.

He remembered me.

He remembered what I should be.

He remembered.

Disclaimer: I don't own Heroes, and for once, I'm glad I didn't.

So, I'm probably the only one who is happy with 'Distractions'. I think it was good.

And now a bunch of Paire shippers are going to flame. Oh well.

This was a sequel to 'Forgotten' and it kind of works. I was actually surprised by the amount of reviews I got for it too. In the Digimon section I get 3 for a one-shot. Here, I get 7.

Amazing. So, please review and I hoped you all enjoyed it. I tried taking a break from all the angst I'm writing and add in something a little light. Oh, and this is my early Valentine's Day gift too!

So, to all the lovers out there, have a happy one!
