A/N: Well, this is actually something I wrote quite a while back (the date on the paper said 12/2/05) and I just found it buried under many other things I've been working on so I thought I'd post it here. Anyway, please read and review! It's a poem so it's really short. ;)

What I Live For

I had nothing to live for.
Nothing to thrill me.
Not in this life
or in the next.
Each day would pass by
leaving no trace of the last.
Each moment I had,
seemingly nothing in my eyes.

But then I met you
and my whole life took a change.
Nothing's the same
and I like it this way.
Each morning when the sun rises,
I can't wait to get up;
to see your face, to hear your voice
makes each moment worthwhile.

You gave me everything
that I missed out on before.
You showed me a world
I've never explored.
Your every move, your every breath
is what I wait for.
Your very name, your very heart
is what I live for.
