A/N: I've never written a CaRWash story before, but I gave it a shot for Shadowsakura321 brought it up in a review on one of my other stories. So, I dedicate this story to Shadowsakura321. And I know Valentine's Day's not tomorrow, but that was the best for the story.

Summary: Calleigh is thinking about what she really feels for Ryan, when he shows up at her doorstep. What will happen? One shot. Drabble.

Roses

Calleigh looked through her kitchen window at the roses in her front yard. Somehow the roses had her thinking of one of her colleagues. Ryan. Tomorrow would be Valentine's Day. She put the butter knife in the dishwasher and the butter itself in the refrigerator. She then grabbed a jar of her home-made rosehip jelly and put this on her sandwich.

Holding her sandwich but not eating, Calleigh opened her front door and walked over to her roses. It were pink roses, so called 'Bermuda roses' and yellow roses called 'Rosa canina'. Calleigh touched one of them and smelled the sweet scent of the roses.

She arranged one rose in a red, glass vase. Then suddenly, the doorbell rang.

Ryan stood on her doorstep, holding a single rose. A red one. Calleigh knew the name of the rose was 'Cesar e chavez'. It had a beautiful dark red color.
"Hi Ryan" Calleigh greeted him.
"Hi Calleigh" Ryan said, handing her the rose. "I wanted to wish you a happy Valentine's Day"
"Thank you!" Calleigh said surprised. "But - you know tomorrow's Valentine's Day, right?"

Ryan nodded. "I do. I just wanted to see you." He blushed. Calleigh smiled and blushed too. "Do you - do you want to come in?"
