The idea for this came to me a little before I was going to sleep, and I had a different version written, but I was too tired to write it down, so I only remembered the first line. I sat and began writing again and this newer idea came to mind, and I like it, so here ya go.
He belongs to the Shinigami Ohba and Obata.
A poem about a boy who just didn't get enough facetime in Death Note. Enjoy.

Final Stand, by Darkness Princess
Orange-tinted binocular eyes
Seeing through a worldly demise
Of satisfaction and a goal not yet achieved.
Fingers bashed buttons on black plastic toys
Silence of the two mischievious boys
But it was so very fitting, they had believed.
He waited, he knew, as the silence drifted
That Destruction awaited, and a blonde shifted,
So he played and he listened for the cue.
Chocolate bars had unwrapped in an uncommon style,
Hurried and eaten, crammed in just a short while,
Foil crinkled and thrown and he knew what to do.
Two motorcycles dashed through early concrete
A new year approaching on one dangerous street,
And a kidnapping was surely in place.
One vehicle continued, detoured, speed--zoom
The other halted and he stepped to his doom
A rain of bullets and lovely blood lace.
Orange-tinted binocular eyes
Watched a bleary world as he met his demise
Of a world where he knew it was done.
As he slid downward, pain at a steady pace
Guns dropped from his hands, blank look on his face.
Three seconds later, Mail Jeevas was gone.

So if the last line didn't give it away, the poem was about Matt. He really didn't get enough manga time, and I lurve him to death (forgive the pun!), and I hope you guys do, too. Please review.
