This all just came up to me one night when I was trying to get some sleep..

These are Naruto's thoughts

So many times, you were watching me and wishing me luck..
So many times, you tried to tell me how you truly felt..
So many times, I didn't understand and just smiled it off..
So many times, I was too busy with Sakura to give you any attention..

Your hands, your soft looking hands,
They have been carefully reaching out for me.
My hands, my shielding hands,
They never thought of taking yours.

So many times, they would timidly reach out..
So many times, I would step away from them to another..

It may not seem like it,
But I like you,
I need you,
I want you.
You may not know this,
But I care for you,
I love you.

I have known it for a very long time..
You and I are very much a like..
We both work so hard to get acknowledged..

One day,
A long time after we last met;
My ignorant eyes will see the love in yours,
My hands will take yours in a tight grip,
I will finally tell you,
I will finally let you know.

I will show you my true feelings like you have always tried to show me yours..

It may not seem like it,
But I like you,
I need you,
I want you,
You may not know this,
But I care for you,
I love you.

I thought we were meant to be, eventually..

But my eyes can see and my hands can feel,
You no longer care for me like you did before.
My hand feels the ring of which you promised yourself to another.
My eyes can see your staring eyes watching the man,
The man which could have been,
The man which would have been,
The man which should have been,
Me..

I am sorry, Hinata-chan..

I wrote the poem down, but it was only for a few minutes ago that I decided to use it for a NarutoXHinata oneshot..
