Amethyst Ice Pt.2: Pursuit of Unhappiness
Prolouge

...Danny... Someone was calling him...but who? He quickly glanced around and saw no one in the darkness. He quickly ran around as the voice called his name.

...Danny...

"...Where are you?' He called out. Faster and faster he ran through the dark. Nothing to trip him, nothing to stop his pursuit of the person calling for him. Pretty soon he reached a desolate wasteland, the trees gnarled and forgotten, no life around him.

...Danny... He continued wandering through the dead forest before he stumbled upon a lone figure sitting on the edge of a water fountain. He couldn't see what his face looked like, but he felt that he had known this person his whole life. But that's impossible...he had never even seen this person before. The stranger dipped his fingers into the fountain as if to tread the water, but no water was flowing out of the fountain.

"...Danny..." He whispered. The moment he heard his name, Danny immediately wanted to comfort this person...he was lonely just as he was. But meeting strangers...it didn't make sense at all...but in dreams, nothing does.

"...Do you...need help?" Danny murmured as he slowly walked up to him.

"Help?" He asked. Danny nodded as he sat next to him.

"I don't know why...but I want to...help you..." The halfa held out his hand...and the figure took it. As soon as he touched his hand, they were transported into a bedroom decked out in red and black. Where...where were they?

"W...Who are you?" Danny asked quietly as he found himself pulling the shirt over his head and tossed it to the side, marveling at how the person looked exactly like him. Skin on skin...the candles flicked gently as they bathed light onto two figures as they touched bodies and fingers. Something told Danny to stop, to get away from this stranger that he had befriended...but he couldn't...there was something about him that he grew attached to...and he couldn't put a finger on it.

"...I don't know...who...I am..."

"...But will you help me find out...Danny?" And then he found himself looking into amethyst ice.
