Harry limped into the Great Hall and an irate voice screamed at him.

"HARRY JAMES POTTER!"

He paled. "Bloody hell!"

Severus Snape glared at him. "Don't you dare curse at me!"

Harry gulped. "Sorry," he said sheepishly.

The older man put his hands on his hips and began to yell. "What the HELL were you thinking? You almost got me killed! Not to mention yourself! And you put everyone here in danger!"

Harry took a step forward. "Sorry, Severus. But you know what? My idea worked. Fuck it all, but it worked! I saved your ass for good and you're just standing there, yelling at me!"

The two glared at each other for a few seconds, the rest of the hall silently looking on in a mixture of confusion and slight fear. Suddenly, a tear slipped down the Potion Master's cheek as he stepped closer to the boy. Harry lunged forward and pulled him into a warm embrace, now crying quietly. Severus tightly wrapped his arms around the younger man, muttering soothing words into his ear.

When they pulled apart, their words were whispered yet were heard throughout the hall.

"I love you, Sev."

"I love you too, Harry."

Harry grinned before he chastely kissed the teacher on the lips, grabbed his hand, and gently tugged him to where Albus Dumbledore was standing, eyes twinkling brightly enough to blind the room.

"Well, my boys. I'm sure we would all appreciate an explanation. But, am I to assume that –"

Harry nodded, now beaming brightly. "Lord Voldemort is dead, for good this time."
