Kasek: Hello. This is an idea I got when I was watching the Itachi Returns mini arc. Anybody notice how Itachi twitches every time Kakashi says the name 'Sasuke'?

Sharingan Twitch

Itachi and Kisame were walking along the path, discussing their recent encounter with Naruto.

"Well, Itachi, that was a failure. I must say, though, that jutsu of Sasuke's was powerful, though pointless."

Twitch.

Kisame blinked. Did Itachi's eyebrow just... twitch? He decided to try something.

"You know, you didn't have to be so brutal with Sasuke. He is your little brother, after all."

Twitch.

There it was again- this time, it had been his finger. Kisame grinned that sharky grin of his.

"Are you okay? You keep twitching. Maybe we should rest for a while."

Itachi didn't twitch this time, but his voice almost sounded... angry. "Kisame, I'm fine. We must keep moving."

Kisame gave a fake sigh. "Yeah, you're right... you're just fine. Unlike Sasuke."

Twitch. This time, his entire leg twitched, causing him to stumble in his step.

"Are you sure we don't need to stop? You're coordination seems to have been affected when you used that technique on Sasuke."

This time, Itachi's entire arm started shaking. "Kisame, I must request you stop doing that."

Kisame grinned. "Doing what?"

"You know precisely what I'm talking about."

"You mean... this?" Kisame leaned in close to Itachi and whispered in his ear, "Sasuke."

Itachi's entire body shivered at the sound of that name. "Yes. That. I request you stop doing

that."

Kisame's grin grew until it stretched from ear to ear (do sharks even have ears?). "Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, SASUKE!!!"

By now, Itachi had been twitching, shivering, and shaking so much, he tripped and landed on his face. He rolled over to see his partner grinning down on him. "Kisame..."

"Yes?"

"You're expendable. Remember that. There are plenty of talented shinobi who would like to join our ranks. Tobi, for instance..."

Kisame put on an expression of exaggerated horror. "You wouldn't dare."

Itachi smirked as he got up. "I would."

"You couldn't."

"I could."

"But... Tobi, of all people? Why would you want to be partnered with him? I'm lots more fun than that guy..."

"That's precisely the point. At least he knows to do what he's told."

"But... we're pals! We share a common bond! We..." He was interrupted when Itachi grabbed by the collar and stared straight into the shark-man's eyes with the Sharingan.

"The only common bond I share with you is that we're both murderers, and that's not something I'm particuarly proud of. Now, if you want to live to see tomorrow, I suggest that you shut up for the rest of this little trip. Do you understand me?" Kisame nodded meekly. "Good."

After Itachi let go, they resumed their journey to... wherever... and they had only been walking for a minute when Kisame whispered under his breath, "Sasuke." He then quickly ducked under a kunai and looked to the side innocently as Itachi glared at him full force with his Sharingan.

Kasek: Just something that's meant to be kind of funny, not outrageously so. Kinda got OOC at the end, though... personally, I think Itachi really regrets having killed his clan, and that he's kinda touchy about it. Well, send reviews, if you want!
