Well, after about a month or so, I'm back with this random little 222 word story. I was just sitting there, minding my own business, when all of a sudden a plot bunny jumped up behind me, did the Matrix-slow-mo and whacked me over the head with this idea. ... Gotta find more cages for those things.

Disclaimer: Samurai Champloo is not mine, nor will it ever be. S'okay though, 'cause I'd go into fits trying to pair up the main characters without leaving any one of them out.

Mugen is red.

Jin is blue.

Mugen is volatile, hot-tempered, and aggressive. Passionate in all of his fights. Outspoken in all of his opinions. He is the complete opposite of Jin.

Jin is steadfast, calm, and peaceful. Serious in all of his fights. Reserved in all of his opinions. He is the complete opposite of Mugen.

If told that these two travel together, one would scarcely believe it. But they do. What keeps them together? There does not seem to be one commonality between the two men; not one reason for them to work together. But then the other traveler is seen, running to catch up. She confronts the two warriors and scolds them for leaving her behind once again. She reminds them that they have a job to do, and can't go running off. When she is finished yelling, they all continue walking.

Fuu is purple.

This girl is the connection and unity that lies between the two warriors. It is she who holds the group together, and keeps them moving in the same direction. She is volatile yet steadfast. Hot-tempered and yet calm. Aggressive, yet peaceful. She tries not to become involved in fights, but will exhibit both passion and seriousness. Sometimes she is outspoken and other times she reserves her opinion for herself.

She is the color in between.
