I thought i'd try another story while i try and think of the next chapter to my 1st story. This one has Itachi in it tooo but...he's not with Sasuke this time. YAY! (not that i dont mind that pairing) but anyway this will have yaoi i guess you could say. Dont like Dont read. Very simple!

Chapter 1: Happy Birthday

On a warm, starless, July night Itachi stood at the bank of the river. It was a little after two in the morning he had been standing there since about one. Itachi while looking relaxed and calm was very tense. It didn't show but he was, his cousin Shiusi had asked earlier that day for Itachi to meet him at the river that night. He found it strange because 1. Shiusi and Itachi really never said much to each other and 2. It was July 23rd, Itachi's 18th birthday. He looked into the water as he remembered the very short conversation.

Itachi was walking around the Uchiha compound when on his way home he saw Shiusi leaning against a tree. Eyes closed, arms crossed, looking calm. Itachi walked by him with another thought in his head. "Itachi." The sound of his name being called by Shiusi made him stop. He didn't move or turn to look at Shiusi. "Meet me by the river behind the woods tonight." That was all Shiusi said before pushing off the tree and walking passed Itachi. Who looked ahead at his cousin giving him a glare.

"So you did come." Itachi turned to look at Shiusi. "And?" Itachi said coldly. There was always something about Shiusi that made Itachi's stomach turn. Shiusi gave a small chuckle. "Nothing….I just thought you wouldn't show." He said keeping his gaze on Itachi. "What do you want. I'm board and tired of standing here listing to you already." "If you wanted me to tell you why I wanted you here all you had to do was ask…." Shiusi walked so he was about half a foot away. "….Itachi." He whispered softly.

"So what was it!" Itachi said making sure his voice held back some of his uneasiness. "I just wanted to say…." He leaned in closer till his face was only and inch from Itachi's. "…Happy Birthday." Itachi took a step back and glared at Shiusi. "You could have said that with everyone else hours ago." He laughed again. "I know but I don't think I could have given you your gift with everyone there." Shiusi took a step forward pushing his lips softly onto Itachi's.

Itachi pulled away after a few seconds when he felt the urge to kiss back. "Oh…what's wrong Itachi-san." "Hn. I'm leaving." With that Itachi walked passed his cousin heading home. He was pissed. Shiusi had to emphasized -san let alone say it. Itachi was the first child born into the head family in the Uchiha clan. Therefore everyone had to show the Head family respect. Itachi however hated being part of the head family, hated the fact that he was part of the clan itself.

Laying in bed later that night Itachi touched his lips. He scowled, then stopped when he heard a knock at his door. He already knew who it was. "What do you want Sasuke." Itachi said as the door was opened. He already knew what Sasuke wanted. Even if he was 14 years old Sasuke couldn't help still coming to Itachi's room ever once in a while. So he moved over allowing Sasuke to lay down with him. He rubbed his little brothers back dozing off when Sasuke's voice got his attention.

"What did aniki have to go to the river for? What did Shiusi-san want?" Itachi looked down at Sasuke. He could be so childish sometimes. "Nothing. He wanted nothing." The young Uchiha nodded his head. "Sasuke." "Yea?" "Don't ever call him that again. Understand?" Sasuke looked confused for a second. "Ok aniki." He then laid his head back down on Itachi's pillow. Itachi glared at Sasuke for a while. "Good." He whispered before going to sleep.
