I don't know what got me to look at my old stories again… it's been so long! Haha I don't remember where I was going with this story but I figure I'll just go with it and end it. Perhaps a sequal?

'Am I dead? No…my head hurts too much for me to be dead…' Hikari slowly opened her eyes. She stared at the white fan on the ceiling for a moment. She heard birds chirping to her right so she slowly turned her head and gazed out the window. The sky was blue and a warm breeze waved through the window.

'I wonder how long I've been out…' Hikari pondered.

"Hey! You're awake!"

Hikari turned her head towards the door and there stood Sakura, Naruto, and Lady Tsunade.

Hikari smiled and gave a little wave. "Hey guys."

The group walked over to her bed and Tsunade proceeded to check her charts. "How are you feeling?" she asked without looking up from the chart.

"Oh I'm peachy…how long have I been out?"

Sakura spoke up. "You've been unconscious for about a day now. The amount of chakra you used completely depleted you."

"You were lucky you didn't kill yourself." Tsunade added.

Hikari shrugged. She was aware of the risks and was prepared for whatever the outcome was to be. Hikari's eyes widen, she was here making small talk but there was a burning question in the pity of her stomach.

"How's Anko? Is she okay?!" Hikari exclaimed as she sat up quickly in bed.

Tsunade held up her hand. "She is fine. She is in another room recovering well. But you should be more concerned with yourself at the moment. You nearly killed yourself Hikari."

Hikari looked down at her hands. "Yeah but the mark is gone, isn't it?"

Tsunade glared at her. "If you do that jutsu again Hikari, you might not end up so lucky." Tsunade put Hikari's chart back down. "Anyway, you are free to go back home today. You can visit Anko tomorrow. Please Hikari, take care of yourself."

Hikari looked up to meet her eyes and nodded. Tsunade nodded and walked out of the room. Sakura and Naruto chatted with Hikari for a bit, filling the details that Hikari could not recall. All while Hikari could help but think…

'Where is Sasuke?'

Later that evening

Hikari walked into the apartment, it was dark and silent.

'This place is so quiet without Anko here…'

Hikari walked through the kitchen and opened the door to her room. The window was open so Hikari walked over to close it. Once the window was shut that is when she heard the most bone chilling voice.

"Hello my sweet angel." A sinister smirk formed on this paled skin intruder.

Hikari froze. She quivered at the oddly calm soothing voice of the man. He slowly walked over to her and stood behind her. He gently brushed her hair over her shoulder and exposed the side of her neck and place his hands firmly on her upper arms. He leaned in closer, so close that the warmth of his breathe tickled her ear.

"Oh what trouble you have caused me…but I am so happy to finally be reunited." He let out a chuckle. His fingers caressed her arms and she shivered beneath them.

"Lo..Lord Orochimaru.." Hikari stammered. Words failed to form, her body refused to move. How could this have happened? What was she going to do?

"Shhh…no need to explain my dear. I know what you have done but I am not mad. On the contrary, I'm very proud of you." Orochimaru's tongue snaked down Hikari's neck. Hikari cringed and turned away, closing her eyes tight. His tongue snaked down her neck and slowly back up into his mouth with a crooked smile.

"I think it's time we went back home…hmm?"

He was asking as if Hikari had a choice in the matter. Orochimaru released Hikari and walked around her room, just casually looking around.

"I've been watching you for a while now and it seems you've made yourself very comfortable here. Too comfortable." He stopped to look at a picture of Hikari standing next to Anko smiling with big ice cream cones in their hands. "And now I think it's in your best interest if come with me now my dear."

Hikari clutched her fists and looked down. This was the man whom she feared, the man who knew her inside and out, the man that could do horrible and dangerous things. She felt utterly and completely vulnerable.

"Yes, sir."

"Splendid, I will give you a moment to gather your things and you will meet me at the gates on the north end of the village." Orochimaru started to walk slowly out of Hikari's room and stopped abruptly before exiting and turned his head to her. "Don't keep me waiting…" and with that he walked out the door.

It took Hikari a moment before she gained control of her body again. She backed up and sat down on her bed, her body shaking.

'Crap! Crap! Crap! What am I going to do?! There's nothing I can do… I have to go with him. Otherwise it will cause more problems with the people here.'

Hikari looked out the window over to the house where a certain blue haired boy lived. 'I just want to say goodbye...'

She closed her eyes tightly but a tear still managed to escape.

'Goodbye Sasuke'

Sasuke heard a knock on his door so he got up from his chair and opened the door. He was greeted
