Okay, so I wanted to write another one-shot, and I have no clue how this will turn out as am just going with the muse! Something tells me it might have a little bit of something to do with a Peter Pan theme. Thank you Jonathan Larson!

Before I start into the story too much, here's a little background info: It's a Mark/OC; it's about ten years after RENT; Mark is married to a character named Susann (Susie); they have a six and a half year old son named Jack, and a four year old daughter named Maggie; Mimi, unfortunately died of AIDs; Collins and Roger are still alive; Maureen and Joanne are married and now live in New Jersey. So that about sums up the back knowledge...here's the story!

Never Land

Susie had just finished putting Jack and Maggie to bed. She went and curled up on the couch with her husband, Mark.

"Aren't you two cute?" Collins teased, entering the loft.

"I thought the door was locked," Susie said.

"Oh, don't worry, I have a key," Roger said appearing behind Collins.

"What's going on guys?" Mark asked his two best friends, knowing they'd show themselves in.

"Not much man," Collins responded.

"Can you guys please keep it down? I just got Jake and Maggie to fall asleep," Susie pleaded.

"Oh, yeah, sorry bout that."

"You okay Roger?" Susie asked. "We both miss her, it's okay," she comforted.

"Yeah," Roger responded. Mimi had died around this time of year, four years ago. Roger had basically given up on love. "I'll be fine," he reassured Susie, who had been a good friend and co-worker of Mimi's.

"So, what are you two going to do tonight?" Mark asked his friends.

"Ah, we figured we go give the new manager of the Life a welcoming party," Collins chuckled. Roger even laughed. "I take it you won't be joining us?"

"Not tonight," Susie answered for Mark.

"You were so much more fun before you had kids," Roger said. "I remember when you used to get drunk without a second thought."

"Yes, and Jake is the result of one of those occasions, not that I'm complaining." Mark, Collins and Roger chuckled. "All the same, I think we'll pass."

A half-hour later Roger and Collins left the loft.

"Alone at last," Susie said, snuggling closer to Mark. They kissed passionately, the fire still burning after 7 ½ years of marriage. "Mark,"

"Hmm?"

"Do you believe?"

"Believe in what?"

"What most kids believe in,"

"Santa Clause?"

"No, Never Land."

"I don't know honey, what brought this up?"

"Jack and Maggie, they just adore Peter Pan. You know, I think I believe in Peter."

"I think you're very tired," Mark said giving his wife a kiss.

"But I'm not tired; I truly do believe, don't you?"

"Sure Honey, I believe in Peter Pan, and the lost boys, and Captain Hook, and Tinkerbelle."

"Aww, it's sweet that you know the characters. Why do you know all the characters?"

"I was a little boy once; you don't think I never fantasized about a land where I wouldn't have to grow up?"

"But the movie wasn't made until recently, did you read the book?"

"No, my mom dragged me to it when I was four for Cindy's eighth birthday. I wound up really liking the idea that there was a magically land where no one got old, Cindy hated it. Then I read the book."

"Aww, I love you," Susie kissed Mark again. "Let's say we go discover this Never Land." Susie led Mark into their room, where they began their search.
