Love Letters

Hiwatari Satoshi sighed and looked down at the confession held limply in his hand. Raking his other hand through his pale blue hair, Satoshi looked up at the clock.
3:00am. No wonder I'm so tired. I should be sleeping.
The teenage boy sank back into the couch cushions and pushed his glasses back up the bridge of his nose as he held the paper at eye level.
Squinting in the dim light, Satoshi began to read silently to himself.
Dear Daisuke-kun,
I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I've decided that I need to tell you how I feel. I've been keeping it inside for quite some time, and I'm sick of it. Please try to understand where I'm coming from.
You're the first and best friend I have ever had. I don't ever want to lose that, but I see you as more than just a friend.
I love everything about you. Your messy red hair. Your laugh, it makes me happy ever time I hear it. They way your eyes light up when you smile, Gods, your eyes and your smile. I love them. I could get lost in them forever. I love how you make me feel, important, almost. Like I matter. When I'm with you I'm not just a shell for a demon. You make me feel like a good person, even though I'm not. You make me feel nice, and cared for. You make me feel happier than I've ever felt in my entire life.
I love you so much that I wish my sole purpose in life was to make you laugh. And when you do laugh at something I say, it makes me feel so blessed that I could bring such a wonderful sound from your lips.
Please don't be freaked out by this, I just needed to tell you how much I love you. I know you will most likely never feel the same way for me, but I want you to know that I will never stop loving you. No matter what.
All my love,
Satoshi Hiwatari
Satoshi stood up and let out a large yawn as he walked across the small living room. He stopped before the trash can and dropped the paper, watching as it fluttered to the bottom.
What am I thinking?!? There's no way someone like Daisuke would, and could, ever love someone like me.
Satoshi turned and walked toward his open bedroom door, ready to welcome a dreamless sleep to still his mind.
---------
…I guess all I wanted to say is that I love you. I love you Satoshi-kun.
Love,
Daisuke Niwa
Daisuke finished reading and crumpled the letter in his hand, forming it into a ball.
What's he use? I'll just make a fool out of myself like I did with Risa-san. Satoshi-kun doesn't love me, and never will.
The redhead tossed the crumpled letter and watched as hit arced gracefully, then plopped into the trash bin across the room.
I just need to forget about it, I don't have a chance in hell. Daisuke thought sleepily as he rolled over, buried his face in his pillow and pulled his blankets over his head.
((AN- This is just a little drabble/one-shot. I can't seem to recall who gave me the title 'Love Letters' to go on, but thanks to whoever it was…Please excuse the major OOC-ness, it was just a bit of fun so don't take it too seriously. I hope whoever read it liked it anyway . And, as always I'd a appreciate some reviews xp))
