The Door

She could hear them through the door, their movements poorly muffled and—

She tilted her head.

If she was right, they were actually getting louder.

Brats.

A manicured hand grasped the metal handle and without ceremony, pushed the door open, startling the couple within. Though tempted, laughter was not an option here. She had a reputation to protect, damn it.

Flushed and disheveled, the poor girl attempted to pat down her hair with the hand that wasn't surreptitiously pushing at a gloved palm shoved up her uniform. When it didn't budge, she shot a helpless look toward the newcomer.

She stared.

They stared back.

Kakashi was the first to break the silence.

"Breast exam. Everything's in, uh, working order." He stroked shapely legs before unwinding them from around his waist.

"Hn." She watched him adjust his mask, unrepentant to a T—

With his hand still firmly lodged up her shirt.

Cocky bastard.

Face straight, she stepped forward and placed a folder at the edge of a desk that had seen neater, more work appropriate days.

"When you've got a moment, Sakura, get that done for me." Tsunade turned away, overcoat flaring behind her. She stopped just before leaving. She gave a pointed look at the doorknob before pinning them with her stare. "And next time, lock the door."

Hearing it click shut behind her, the Hokage shook her head and walked away.

"Newlyweds."
