DuckNapped

Disclaimer/ author notes: I don't own Ducktales or any of the characters in this fanfic. I'm sorry I forgot about this fanfiction for so long. I recently re-discovered this month. It was absolutely awful, I decided to re-write the thing and finally get it posted. Please be warned this is much darker than where I was originally going to go with this storyline. I hope you enjoy.

Scrooge McDuck was riding in his limo watching the scenery roll by as he and his accountant headed towards the Scrooge McDuck Bank of Duckburg. Fenton sitting beside him saw the pensive expression on his face.

"Mister McDuck, what's wrong?" asked Fenton Crackshell. He noticed his boss has been rather detached during the car ride.

"Ay it's nothing Fenton, firing someone is not something I ever look forward to. Sure I may lose my temper and fire Launch Pad after every other crash but he knows that they are all empty threats. He may act like an idiot but he knows I wouldn't be able to find another pilot willing to fly to the places he takes me nor one who has as big of a heart he." Scrooge replied.

"Aww Mister McDuck I didn't know you care so much." Fenton laughed

"But don't think for a moment I wouldn't fire anyone if they slacked in there performance." Scrooge responded seriously shaking his cane

"Oh Mr. McDuck I know you don't like to fire people. Most if not all of your upper management have long realized that by now. Furthermore, they respect you for it. McDuck Industries are one of the few companies that still allow a climb of the corporate ladder. They know if they work hard you can reap what you sow. That's why I triple checked these numbers. I wouldn't have brought this to your attention unless I was sure of fraud."

Scrooge scowled " It's a sad sign of the times where hard work of an employee is often overlooked in favor of short sighted quarterly returns. Surprise, I'm not the tyrant tycoon the media makes me out to be. I actually do try to work with the unions and supply fair wages" Scrooge sighed "I guess, I can understand why they continue that narrative, with Glomgold cutting jobs and moving factories overseas, it is assumed I will follow suit. Shaking his head he changed the subject.

"Fenton you remembered the files?"

"Yes, there right here." Gesturing to the folder in the inside pocket of his jacket. "Who would have thought me! A bean counter might end up saving one of your businesses."

"Aye, it's good you're thorough with your numbers and caught this. I might have eventually but according to your figures I would have lost millions at that point."

"Maybe more, he hid his embezzlement extremely well. I even had a hard time following the paper trail and tracking down all of the losses. Hopefully, after he's arrested we will be able to find and recover some of the stolen funds."

"Maybe, but we will need his cooperation to do so, he's no Beagle Boy who would crack at the sight of cake." Scrooge sighed

"Still, even so for as much as he could have gotten away with, he didn't get much all things considering. My calculations show you should be able to recoup the loses in a few months. "

"Aye and for that I'm glad, what really brothers me most about this when I hired him to run my bank I did so cause I thought he was honest." Scrooge said.

"The important thing is he was found out and he'll go where he belongs, in jail. I'm sure you're not the first one who misjudged him."

Soon they arrived at their destination, around the block from the bank . The Duckburg's police were already on scene ready for Mr. McDuck. They went over a few last minute items before making their way to the bank.

Scrooge walks into the Scrooge McDuck Bank of Duckburg followed by Fenton and a half a dozen police officers. He quickly reached his destination, a big office with the name Del Fox written on the door. Scrooge pushed the door open and barged right in.

"Oh Mister McDuck what brings you here?" Del Fox asked politely while he quickly stood up from behind his desk.

"You know exactly why I'm here. You have been stealing from the people of this bank, scamming the rest of my company with false figures, and to top it off you have been skimming money from the McDuck charity account."

"Where did you get all of this information from? I can assure you your source is quite wrong" Del Fox remarked coolly, eyeing Fenton while he said this. Del Fox knew he was Scrooge's accountant and quite a good one at that, if half of the rumors he heard was true. However, there was no way anyone could have proof of his scheme, suspicions yes but defiantly not proof. He covered his tracks well.

"From me. That's where, and I can prove it" Fenton said defending his discovery. Fenton then proceeded to show Del Fox all of the evidence he had collected.

"I realized something was amiss when some of the retirement accounts of employees of Mr. McDuck weren't yielding the interest they should have. I quickly found that money was being lost from individual saving accounts, assets seemed to have simply vanished. A few dollars here, a few dollars there, they all add up. Then there was a lack of funds from Mister McDucks charity. Since some of all this were traceable, I was able to track to offshore account in a sham business under your name. I found 453,814 dollars in the fund which was exactly the amount that was lost from all the accounts. You though since you were stealing from diffenent and random accounts you wouldn't get caught." Fenton finished crossing his arms.

Del Fox was speechless he never thought anyone would have been able to trace the money to his off shore account, but the accountant did and he was right about everything else too.

"So in light of this evidence you are fired and under arrest," Scrooge stated pointing his cane at Del Fox. Del Fox became enraged and pulled a gun from behind the desk. It appeared so quickly almost out of thin air, taking aiming for Scrooge. Fenton saw and yelled to Mr. McDuck. Thanks to the quick reflexes that he had fine tuned since becoming Gizmo Duck. He dived into Scrooge pushing him to the floor. A shot rang out at that instant as a bullet ripped though Fenton's shoulder.

Before leaving the scene Del Fox shouted behind him "You'll pay for this McDuck and so will your stupid accountant."He then jumped out the first level window of his office.

"Fenton, are you ok?" Scrooge asked worriedly

"I got hit in the shoulder, it hurts." Fenton said though gritted teeth.

"Get and ambulance and someone follow that mad duck." Scrooge bellowed. This got everyone's attention. In all there years of working for Scrooge they never saw him lose his cool, he's usually calm and collected while everyone else is in a panic. The ambulance soon arrived and Fenton was quickly loaded in. Meanwhile Scrooge contacted Mrs. Crackshell and Gander Dee so they could meet them at the hospital.

"Where's Fenton? Where's my baby?" cried a worried Ma'ma Crackshell as she entered the Duckburg City Hospital. For the first time she is seen without signature curlers, bathrobe, and slippers. Her hair is pulled back and she wore a simple blue dress. Gander Dee was with her and had on her typical outfit.

"He's in room 122, he's recovering from the surgery. He should be fine and ready to leave in a few days but the doctors say after he's discharged he'll need to stay off his feet for about a week." said Scrooge "I'm very sorry for the turn of today's events and want you to know I'll make sure he'll have the best of care."

"Thank you Mr. McDuck. I'm sure Fenton will be happy when he hears he'll be out of here soon. Though I doubt he'll like he'll have to be home for week, he'll be eager to get back to work. I never have seen him as happy as he has been since he started working for you." remarked Mrs. Crackshell. "Is it alright if we see him?"

"Yes, though the doctor asks that we limit our time since he needs to rest."

"We won't be long" As they went down to his room.

Once they left Scrooge went back to Fenton's room. He knocked on the door "Fenton can I come in?"

"Yeah, Sure Mr. McDuck."

"Fenton, I just wanted to say thank you for saving my life today. And it should go without saying; you know you're welcome to have as much time off as you need, with full salary. There has also been a guard posted outside the door for your safety. As soon as you're better I would like to award you for your heroic efforts today" Scrooge stopped there. Watching the smile grow on Fenton's face. He knew that this was something Fenton has always wanted to be awarded as him, Fenton Crackshell, not as Gizmoduck. He saw Fenton light up and start to laugh which caused him to wince in pain.

"As much time off as I need, with pay, huh? I remember when I first started working for you that would be something you never would have done. You changed alot in the past few years."

"Aye I have and for the better might I add. Like I said you do have as much time as you need but let me remind you that there is a mad duck out there who has his sights on us it would do us both good if Gizmoduck was around."

"I know Mr. McDuck I won't be out long just until my arm heals. Trust me I'm not looking forward to watching Ma'ma's Soaps."

*******************************8 weeks later******************************

It has been weeks since anyone saw or heard from Del Fox. In this time Fenton's shoulder healed up nicely and he was back on the job. The other day he was officially congratulated by Scrooge McDuck and the mayor by being given an honorary key to Duckburg. Once off stage he promptly gave it to Gander Dee, telling her only she had the key to his heart. Then he got down on one knee and proposed, she said yes. Since the incident in the bank Fenton realized how much he wanted Gander in his life with him. He planed to tell her of his dual identity, Gizmoduck later this week. He wanted to keep her from danger but didn't want to continue their engagement without her knowing the truth. Wedding planning is stressful enough without a groom rushing off at odd times and without knowing why.

Unfortunately for all parties involved Del Fox was about to come out of hiding. He have been watching the McDuck family since he's been on the run. Specially, Scrooge's three grand nephews Huey, Dewy, and Louie, and his adopted niece Webby. These four innocent ducklings were by far the best way to carry out his vengeance against Scrooge McDuck. Del Fox also made himself well acquainted with the daily routines of the rest of the McDuck household. He was finally ready to set the first part of his plan in motion.

He watched as Duckworth, Scrooge's butler, walked out the house towards the family car. Del Fox stole a quick glance of his watch and smirked, two O'clock right on schedule. Duckworth too glanced at his pocket watch; ever since the threat was made at the bank he had made sure he arrived at the school early. Duckworth was blissfully unaware someone was in the shadows watching him. While he bent over to open the car he was unaware as a figure stalked up behind him. He never expected the blow to his head and quickly slipped into the world of black unconsciousness. Del Fox wasted no time hastily tying his arms and gagged the butler before he dumped him in the trunk of the limo. He got into the car and as he adjusted the rear view mirror he straighten the tie of his butler costume. Now he was ready for the next part of his master plan as he drove to the school to wait for the young ducks.

Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby chatted as they walk to where their car's usual stop but abruptly stopped when they saw Duckworth wasn't the one standing next to it.

"Where's Duckworth?" asked Huey.

"He's in the hospital along with your uncle. I was sent by a to come and fetch you. Your uncle and his driver have been in a terrible a car accident .You're uncle is in critical condition in the ICU. I am to take you there at once"

The young ducks faces fell, both fear and worry seen in their eyes as they heard the terrible news. They didn't notice that the car they were getting into was the same and only car their uncle owned, until it was too late. The boys and Webby stared at each other. After all their adventures and the villains their uncle went up against they couldn't imagine that he would be defeated by a simple car accident. Each one of them had tears in their eyes and sliently prayed that their uncle would be ok. Dewey hung his head unwilling to let the others see him cry, when he noticed a candy wrapper on floor of the car and remembered he dropped it there this morning. He sat up straight as suddenly a horrible thought stuck him.

"Hey! Wait a minute if Unca Scrooge was in a car accident how can we be in the same car from crash, Unca Scrooge only has one car." The ducklings quickly realized they have been tricked. Uncle Scrooge had warned them to be careful several weeks ago after the incident at the bank, that's why they haven't been allowed to walk home from school. Huey and Dewey the two sitting closest to the doors pushed and kicked at them to no avail, they were locked. Del Fox watched as they futilely tried to escape, he tossed a small vile into the backseat and closed the small window between the front and back seats. The broken vile released a pink gas.

"Cover your mouth, it's knockout gas." Louie yelled. It was too late they were all asleep in a matter of minutes. Del Fox drove to a clearing behind a park where a black van awaited. Transferring his victims to the new car proved to be an easy task. Once in the new vehicle he then made his way towards his hideout, a small rundown warehouse in Downtown Duckburg. Del Fox deposited his hostages in a small room he had prepared. Nothing to elaborate, a windowless room with two beds and a small camera. He took care to make sure each of the ducks hands were tied together.

"Now, to make that no good accountant pay." Del Fox stewed,. That know-it-all was the reason he was in this predicament, on the run, assets frozen, and with no future. Fenton needed to suffer the consequences for crossing him. Fenton's mother would have been the perfect target of vengeance, however, she didn't quiet fit into this step of his plan. Besides, she never left the trailer for more than a few minutes at a time during commercials. An abduction would be far to risky anyway, there were other ways he could use her to punish Fenton. The new fiancée however, was a different matter all together. She was friendly, kind, and most importantly gorgeous. It was she who Del Fox planned to capture. He had sent her an email to her from "Fenton" earlier this morning with a change of plans. Instead of meeting Fenton at a new restaurant she was to meet him in the park for a romantic engagement picnic dinner. In about an hour she would be there but when she gets there it won't be her Fenton she will find.

*******************2 hours after the boys came up missing********************

Scrooge McDuck was pacing in the entrance hall of his mansion he had been worrying since the kids and Duckworth were only a half hour late. "There's probably a good reason why Duckworth hasn't returned with the lads and lass yet, Mrs. Beakley" He said for the tenth time this hour. He was trying to convince himself of this and at the very least not alarm more than she already was.

"I'm sure there is. Maybe traffic or he took them out for some ice cream or something because one of them had a bad day. The boys could even be in detention. And he's waiting for them to let out" She replied trying to be calm but failing miserly.

"He knows the situation at hand and he has a cell phone. Beside the fact that he detests lateness, he calls for even the slightest of delays. No, he would have called by now. I hate to say but I think we should call the authorities.

"I know your right but I pray your not." Mrs. Beakley responded numbly, as she handed the phone over to Scrooge.

"Hello Duckburg Police Department...This is Scrooge McDuck...get me the captain...yes...Hello Captain my nephews, Webby, and my butler Duckworth haven't been heard from in 2 hours...yes I know that's not a long time...yes but the threat I told you about...I fear the worst...can you send over a few officers and put a search out for them...What yes I know how much that costs if you forget I own the Duckburg Police department...I'll pay the over time...thank you...I'll be waiting, bye." Scrooge hung up the phone.

"There'll be here shortly" He told Mrs. Beakley.

******************************30 minutes later*****************************

"Fenton, Fenton, where are you?" Gander didn't understand why he changed his plans. As she stood in a secluded section of the Duckburg park quite literally off the beaten trail. They were supposed to meet at a new restaurant tonight but Fenton sent her a email today with a few changes. Maybe he thought this would be more romantic. He did mention he wanted to talk to her about something important. While it was like Fenton to be a tad late at times he never was this late nor was he usually romantic, flashy yes, romantic not so much. But still he just proposed maybe he wanted to show her how romantic he could be. While she waited she was getting impatient. How could Fenton have her wait in a creepy place like this? She thought. She never realized she wasn't alone.

A figure jumped out of the shadows and tackled her to the ground. Small bits of leaves and twigs were getting stuck in her hair as she tried to push off the weight that was on her. She could hear part of her blouse being torn.

"Fenton, help me!" She yelled as her attacker flipped her over so he was sitting on her stomach. She was now able to look at her assailant in the eyes. His glare chilled her to the bone, this was someone she knew and who she has watched in the news.

Oh no.

Her mind went back to several weeks ago when Fenton told her that man who shot him threaten him and he wanted her to be careful.

"Your Fenton isn't here! How can a girl as pretty as you love such a dumb duck anyway?" Then Del Fox firmly pressed a clothed soaking in knockout tonic over her beak, she was out in seconds. He loaded her into the car and liked the others he had no problem getting her to the small room. As he was about to leave he noticed that the butler finally looked like he was coming to. It's about time he's been out for hours already. He looked to a small camera in the corner high up on the wall as he strolled out the door. Now he was ready to set the next step of his plan in motion. Boy will Scrooge and his dumb accountant love what he had up his sleeve.

*******************************2 more hours later *************************

Scrooge was still pacing across the main entrance way of the mansion. There was no rational explanation. Something was wrong the boys, Webby or Duckworth haven't been seen or heard from in over four hours. Even the police who were doubtful of foul play when Scrooge called now believed they were dealing with a ducknapping. There was a set of officers at the door and another at the phone. But even with their presence Scrooge still felt never had to handle a problem like this one. Sure, Webby was ducknapped by the Beagle Babes before but dealing with the Beagles and Del Fox are quite different adversaries. Scrooge looked up and sliently prayed yet again for their safety. He looked over at she looked like she was holding up better then him. She was nervous and scared for the children's safety but she was channeling that into baking cookies for when the children did get home and serving tea to the officers on duty.

Scrooge never though of firing Duckworth during his many years of faithful service, but if he did bring the kids home now he'd probably fire him on the spot. He was convinced that there no logical reason for not only the extreme lateness but the lack of contact. He looked over to pouring some tea for the guards her hands shaking slightly. Strike that, if Duckworth came home now she would fire him, beat him within an inch of his life, and then never let the children out of her sight again. He sighed and shook his head. No if he did walk through that door now, he wouldn't fire him on the spot, maybe tomorrow but tonight he would drop to the floor and thank the Great Duck in the sky that they were all safe and at home.

Suddenly the house phone rang, the officers sprung into action in a flash, prompting Scrooge to answer the call." Hello...Fenton where are you? I've been trying reach you ...WHAT! ...how'd you know that?...WHAT! Gander never showd up!...Aye I fear for the worst too...come over the police are here...bye.

*******************************Meanwhile********************************

Fenton was waiting for Gander to show up at the restaurant for over an hour and he was more than nervous. She was hardly ever late for a date and never stood him up before. What concerned him the most that he hasn't heard from her. If she was running late or had to cancel last minute, she would have called him. Wait! Called him! He quickly took out his cell phone and low and behold no service. He asked for a check and paid for the apptezier he ordered about a half an hour ago. He was walking out of the restaurant and instantly once he walked outside he saw that he had several missed calls all from Mr. McDuck and none from Gander. A horrible thought stuck him. No, it was impossible but dialed Mr. McDuck.

"Hello ...wait is everyone there or is anyone missing...Gander never showed up for dinner...I fear the worst...I'm going to the police station...ok...bye. With that Fenton hurried over to the McDuck Mansion.

*******************************Meanwhile********************************

Duckworth groaned, his head was pounding and his arms were aching. He went to move his arms to relieve some of the soreness and realized he couldn't move them. His eyes shot open and he instantly regretted it. The light bore into his eyes forcing them shut again. Slowly, he opened them again fighting the dizziness as he gradually repositioned himself into a sitting position. His vision was out of focus as he blinked a few times to clear his vision. He quickly became distressed at the sight before him. His young charges were strewn on one of the beds in the room like common rubbish. He struggled to crawl over to the bed and to check on them. This was not an easy task for an out of shape tried up fifty-something. Once there he gave them a look over and sighed in relief , although they were each tied up as he was, they were all breathing and looked relatively un-harmed.

"Children wake up." He whispered urgently, shaking them awake. As they came too he continued to give them look over.

"Where are we?" asked Webby.

"I'm sorry to say, Miss Webbigail, I don't know" said Duckworth "The last thing I remember was walking to the limo to pick you young ones up from school. I don't remember much else judging from the bump on my head, I think someone, how do you say got the drop on me.."

Suddenly, Louie sprang up all excited "You're here! You're not in the hospital that means you weren't in any old accident and Unca Scrooge is Ok." Louie exclaimed. The other ducks thought this over and nodded in agreement.

"Accident? Certainty not! I assure you your uncle is safe at the mansion. Where did you get an idea like that?".

"That's what the person who took us said when he tricked us into getting into the car"

"Yeah, then he threw this pink smoke at us" Webby said

"That was knockout gas Webby. I can't believe we fell for that. I mean of all things Unca Scrooge getting in an accident."

Huey hung his head "I'm sorry Duckworth, you, Uncle Scrooge, and Mrs. Beakley are always telling us not to get into a car with strangers. Then we go and do just that."

"Come now boys. There is no way you could have known."

Just then they heard the door slam open and they came face to face with their ducknapper. Del Fox was standing in the doorway with Gander Dee her arms tied hung over his left soldier. He threw her on the vacant bed.

"Oh! I see you're awake now. That's good! How are liking your room?"

Duckworth gaped at him "How do we like the room, you ask! You're holding us captive! How do you think we like it! How dare you keep us here! I demand you release us" Duckworth slowly stood himself up as he spoke making sure that the children were well behind him. The kids stared at him with wide eyes, Duckworth commanded more strength and courage than they thought possible. Wow, the boys thought even when he instigated a rebellion against those alien vegetables his glare wasn't this icy and cold.

Del Fox eyed the butler for a second sizing him up, he cocked his head to the side and started to chuckle. The chuckling soon gave rise to a maniacal laughter. Duckworth stood firm as the scared children huddled closer to him.

"I guess you're all wondering why I'm laughing?" Del Fox asked as his fit of laughter ran its course.

"Not really, we're not interested in the behavior of lunatic" Duckworth scoffed flatly. This comment caught Del Fox off guard. He stepped to the side trying to circle around Duckworth in an attempt to get closer to the children. Duckworth was not having this and pivoted to face Del Fox as he moved.

"Well, I'm going to tell you anyway. It's the fact that you a mere servant thinks you can command me! Do actually think McDuck cares for you? Do you think those spoiled duck brats gives a damn about you? They only want you to do stuff for them. Better yet, do you think you actually matter to me? Your not worth a dime. I couldn't give you away, let alone sell you, completely utterly worthless." Del Fox mocked

Huey was the first to respond "Thats a lie we love Ducksworth. He's part of our family. We do lots of stuff for ourselves and so does Unca Scrooge."

"So, you don't need him since you can do everything yourself? Maybe your Uncle should fire him like he fired me" asked Del Fox

"No I didn't say that. I wouldn't dream of life without him, but we don't take advantage of him."

"Children anything you say he'll just twist around. I know how much I mean to you and Mr. McDuck, his lies don't affect me." Duckworth was more concerned about some else he said. 'Sell? what did he mean by that.'

"Lies, you call them. I'll show you" Del Fox whipped out a taser from his back pocket as he shot it at Duckworth. 50,000 volts ripped though him. He screamed in agony as his legs buckled and he was again on his knees. He was bent over panting, he was vaguely away of the children crying and calling out to him. They seemed so far away. He wasn't sure how much he could take, when it suddenly stopped. In the corner of his eye he saw Miss Webbigail was reaching out to him when it stopped.

"You girl stop" Del Fox thundered. Webby terrified of the ducknapper stopped stepping back towards the boys. "You don't touch him! Or else the electricity will go into you too. I can't have that now can I. Don't want to damage the merchandise." The young ducks were completely baffled by this, sensing the look of confusion Del Fox continued "The girl is worth millions on the black market. I'm already getting bids for her."

Duckworth realized what he planned to do with them at least what he planned to do with the children and it sickened him. "Like hell you will" growled Duckworth. "If it's money you're after, Mr. McDuck will pay a ransom for their safety"

"What would be the point of that? He fired me, he needs to face the consequence for doing that. Losing a few million or billion for the kids, pah. He wouldn't learn his lesson. Never seeing them again, while endlessly searching for them, now there is a punishment.

Duckworth slowly stood back up "Mr. McDuck will track you to the ends of the earth too. You will be forever on the run. Any money you get, you won't be able to enjoy." he panted. A scream tore from his throat as he fell once again to his knees. As another round of volts went though Duckworth as Del Fox shot him again and again with his taser. Duckworth went limp after a few moments, his breath shallow.

"I'm sure he will, however, where I'm going he will never find me" Del Fox turning off his taser and looked at the kids. "He will never find you either." He gestured to the prone form of Duckworth on the floor "Him on the other hand, he will find his body soon enough." Grabbing his shoulders to drag Duckworth out the door.

"Hey, let go of Duckworth"yelled Huey, the kids grabbed onto Duckworth's legs and tried to free him from Del Fox's grasp. All of a sudden Del Fox, whips out a knife, putting it to Duckworth's neck. "Would you rather me cut his throat right here? He is of no value to me" The children quickly let go of his legs. Allowing Del Fox to drag him from the room. "That's what I thought, now don't forget to smile to the camera. You will be going live in a few minutes." As Del Fox slammed the door shut. The young children could hear him laughing on the other side.

The young ducks just stared at each other, still trying to process what just happened. A soft moan, from the bed reminded them they were still not alone. They walked over to the bed where Gander was thown on still unconscious.

"Ok gang, we have to get out of here, Dewey now would be the time to come up one of your amazing escape plans" Said Huey

"Not much to work with" replied Dewey eyeing the mattresses on the empty bed, "Maybe we can do the next best thing" Pointing to the mattress.

"I see maybe we can hide behind the mattresses from the camera" concluded Louie. They all tried to move the mattresses of the empty bed. It was no use. It was welded to the bed frame which was nailed to the floor. Even if they had their hands free they wouldn't have been able to move it.

"Alright so that was a bust" said Dewey "Sorry, we can try to search the rest of the room, but there isn't much to investigate." There was no windows and room was empty except for the two beds that they discovered were nailed to the floor. What's worse is that the camera seemed to have been turned on, it now had this red blinking light and it moved following them as they moved around the room. Huey scowled at the camera and gave it the best one finger salute he could considered his hands were tried.

*******************************Half Hour Later****************************

Del Fox laughed he was already getting offers from his online auction. All he had to do now was drop off the butler's body on the side of the road. Inside the butler's pocket he planted a surprise for both Scrooge and Fenton, a link to the site where the auction was taking place. He was sure McDuck would love to watch it in real time. As for Fenton a special note congratulating his mother on winning her brand new TV.

*******************************Not to Long After**************************

A duck in his early thirty's was driving down a road when a lump off on the side of the rode caught his eye. He swiftly pulled his car over to check it out. He was shocked at what he found. The bruised and batted body of an older gentlemen. He quickly called 911, within minutes the entire area was crawling with police officers and EMS workers. It was cut and go for a time but they were finally able to regain a heart beat from the man. When a small volunteer EMS girl duck noticed the patient's face "That's Mr. McDuck's butler, those officers came to the station last night with those pictures. Well this is the butler their looking for"

"I think you're right Angel, lets get this guy to the hospital stat"

"Yes and then we should tell the police of this"

"Yea and Mr. McDuck as well."

*********************Office on the other Side of Duckburg********************

An old bearded duck with a tartan tam o' shanter was drinking coffee miserably checking his latest stock returns. Still not the richest duck in the world yet. An odd mail notification popped up on his screen. Curiously, he opened the alert to see that the subject read line: McDuck's loss could be your gain. Probably spam, but in this market, what the hell, Flintheart clicked on the link and spat out his coffee. "What is this?" he shouted. He could see as clear as day Scrooge's brats tried up and some young woman passed out on bed. Above the video in bright yellow letters, for sale to the highest bidder. Below was a price tally of how much each of them was going for at the moment. The worst part was on the side of the video seemed to be a chat room feature, some of the most heinous words he ever read scrolled by. This whole image turned his stomach. "What type of trick are you up to this time McDuck? This is a new low selling your brats like this." Golmgold grumbled as he reached for his phone. "Scrooge McDuck residence" he barked into the phone.

"Scrooge you sank to a new low. Do you have any idea what they are saying about those brats of yours? It's disgusting and ...You know damn well what I'm talking about...You sent me a link, Well I'm not buying those leeches off of you...I'm not lying, it's sick that what it...What No...I'm looking at it now...they look alright I guess... there is a women passed out on the bed...Fine send them over...you owe me McDuck.

"Shit, now I have to deal with police looking at my computer, better delete those illegal files."

***************************Back At The McDuck Mansion*******************

Scrooge and Fenton was in the living room talking to the chief of police when the phone rang. Scrooge waited for the police chief to give him the OK signal before he answered. He was rather annoyed when he heard Glomgold yelling at him at the other end. His annoyance morphed into apprehension when he was he realized what Glomgold was saying. What are you talking about, Glomgold I don't have time right now...What Glomgold I swear you better not making this up...My boys and Webby have been since this afternoon...You're telling me you see them on the computer...are they ok...is there anyone else there...I have the police here they want to go over and see for themselves...Thank you Glomgold.

Just as he hung up the phone is his hands shaky. Trying to make sense of what Glomgold told him...his boys and his darling Webbigail being sold? Two officers busted through the door and went to the chief and had short conversation.

"Mr. McDuck, your butler have been found" The chief told him

"Is he ok? Any sign of the children?" Scrooge asked, pleading hoping that Golmgold was wrong.

"He's in the hospital, in critical condition. No, the children weren't with him, however, we did find a flash drive on your butler...I think you both should sit down."

They brought a laptop in front of a seated Scrooge and Fenton, "I should warn you that you will find this disturbing" Once the flash drive went into the laptop the site Golmgold described popped up. The color drained from Scrooges face as he saw his kids, being auctioned off like they were livestock. The comments scrolling along the side were awful. He could see why Glomgold said it was disgusting.

"It looks Del Fox has created a black market auction site to sell your nephews and adopted niece." The police chief explained.

"I'll buy them...whatever it costs, it's no different than a ransom" Scrooge sobbed. Tearing his eyes from the screen. Fenton eyes were focus on Gander who hasn't moved from her place on the bed.

"She hasn't moved. Is she ok?" Fenton asked the police chief

"All indication is that she is breathing. The young girl checked on her and gave a thumbs up to the boys earlier. It looks like Del Fox has Miss Dee on auction too. Mr. McDuck, I'm sorry but this website isn't completely functional. We are locked out from bidding. We can watch but we are unable to interact with the site. We hoping that the site that was sent to Mr. Golmgold will allow us to more flexibility."

Scrooge watched as Dewey looked into the camera and fliping it off. Scrooge smiled that the kids were enough that they still had some spirit of rebellion.

A voice came from the laptop all of a sudden..."Greetings, I see that my lovely feed is playing live in the McDuck Mansion. As one to always promote entrepreneurship I though you would love to see my news enterprise McDuck. Those comments though.. tsk tsk.. it's enough to make your hair stand on end. Don't worry Crackshell the knock out tonic I used your whore will wear off soon, I'm sure once she's awake her bids will go higher and she will become the focus on the chatroom." Fenton squeezed the armrest of the chair. The police officers were inspected the laptop. This did not happen when they accessed the drive at the precinct. "In the mean time may I offer my most sincere congratulations to your dear M'ma". Fenton exchanged looks with Scrooge. "It's not everyday one wins a new Big screen TV for mother of the year. I promise you in 10 minutes she will be in for an explosive surprise" To bad her phones aren't working and your trailer is a good 20 minutes from McDuck Mansion." The voice went quiet.

"Mr. McDuck, Mr. Crackshell we have agents heading to Ms. Crackshell's residence they will be there in 15 minutes."

"They will never make it in time" Fenton cried out "Eyeing his suitcase by the door.

"Fenton, why don't you go get some air." Scrooge said a knowing look in his eye. Fenton understood...there was one way to make it to the trailer in time. Flying overhead, he grabbed his grabbing his suitcase as he dashed out the door.

"So police chief, what else can you tell me about this website" Scrooge asked to distract the agents from the sound of a small helicopter lifting off from outside. ******************************Meanwhile********************************

Gizmoduck flew as fast as he could towards his mother's trailer. He has tried several times to reach her by phone, but Del Fox was telling the truth on that one, they weren't working. Just in a nick of time, only a minute to spare. He landed at the door and threw it open revealing a very surprised M'ma Crackshell watching a new TV.

"Fen...Gizmoduck what's going on" Gizmoduck wasted no time with explanations. He grabbed his mother, sped out of the trailer, and just as the trailer exploded he covered her from the blast. The sound was deafening. Her ears were ringing as the faint sound of car alarms in the background came clearer and louder. She could hear her son Gizmoduck trying to ask her something. She shook her head to clear out the ringing.

"Madam, are you alright" She finally made out that's what Gizmoduck was asking. She was beginning to see her neighbors were beginning to form a crowd outside.

"Yes, I think so. What happened?"

"Some fiend send you a false TV. You were lucky I was patrolling and heard the device overhead. Sorry about the damage to your home, the authorities will be here soon. Is there anyplace a take you? Like to your son's place of work" The trailer was in flames and she could hear the fire trucks in the distance. She caught on to what Gizmoduck was saying...her son didn't want her to stay here, he wanted her to go with him."

"Yes, Gizmoduck, my son works for Scrooge McDuck."

"Yes, McDuck Mansion will be a safe place for you to stay. I will take you there" As he picked her up and took towards the mansion.

"Do you know if they still have cable?" M'ma asked.

******************************An Hour Later******************************

Mr. McDuck walked into the emergency room doors, Duckworth was found an hour ago and was still in critical condition. Fenton was back at the mansion mother hening over his mother. He can't say he could blame the lad, a minute later she would have been lost with their trailer. Del Fox planned so that there wouldn't be enough time to save her. Thankfully, Gizmoduck was not part of his plan. While a trip the hospital was not exactly where he wanted to be, Scrooge thought mother and son could use some time to themselves. Besides he had to stop watching that damn site. It was an odd mix, he comforted to see that the children was alright but the comments made him fume. How dare those animals speak about his kids like that? When this is all over and they are safe from harm. He's going to see to it that all those monsters will be put behind bars.

He arrived at Duckworth's room, a doctor was there taking his vitals. Scrooge noticed the lack of security at the room, that was something he plans to amend. "Doctor, I'm Mr. McDuck, how is he doing?"

"Mr. McDuck...here I see you are" She said looking at Duckworth's medical record "You're his employer, you and a Mrs. Beakley are listed as emergency contacts. Here take a seat Mr. McDuck. We are monitoring him closely. When the EMS personnel found him his heart stopped beating for a time." A machine in the room beeped. "We are treating him for an irregular heartbeat and as someone who just had heart failure. A lot amount of electricity coursed through his body recently. We believe a taser was used on him multiple times judging by the marks we found on the skin. Do you know if he had a heart condition or a history cardiovascular disease?"

"No, I don't believe he does." Scrooge gulped as he heard the bleak diagnosis of his friend.

"That's good, hopefully we can stabilize his heartbeat with medication, it will take time but it's in his favor if his heart was healthy before this event. The rest of the damage, it's hard to say but I don't believe he was conscious for the rest of the beating. You're welcomed to stay with him, call me if he wakes up" The said as she walked out.

Scrooge grabbed Duckworth's hand.

"Duckworth, I don't know if you can hear me, but please get better. Whatever you need. I'll make sure you see the best cardiologists." To Scrooge's surprise he felt a squeeze of his hand. "Duckworth, are ye waking up my lad?" Scrooge pushed the button for the doctor.

"Mr. McDuck. what where, the children" Duckworth asked weakly

"There, There Duckworth, you rest. We are working to find them"

"Mr. McDuck I'm so sorry I tried to keep them safe. Miss. Dee is with them. He plans to sell them" Duckworth sobbed weakly. The machines started making erratic beeping noises.

"Clam down Duckworth, I know, I have the best officers looking into it. Now I need you to settle down. When we find those kids I'm going to need you home to keep them in line. But you got to tell me. Do you have any idea where you were."

" I think it may have been somewhere downtown. Rundown buildings." Duckworth said sleepily as the doctor came in and administered a sedative. "He really should rest now Mr. McDuck"

***************************Meanwhile at the Room*********************

Gander Dee was just waking up from her drug induced sleep. Her head was throbbing and opening her eyes caused the accursed light to beam though. She groaned at the pain. Gander girl, what did you do with the girls last night, I haven't had a hangover like this since Happy Ducky University.

"Look, guys she's waking up" Louie called from by her side. As the other ducks ran to her side.

"Miss Dee are you ok." Webby asked uncertainly

" Huh, What's going on? Where am I?" Gander asked confused as reality poured down on her like a ton of bricks. " Oh my Great Duck! What happened? Are you four alright?"

"We're alright, the bad guy brought in some water a little while ago. He said you would need it." Dewey said. As Huey, brought over a cup of water for Gander. She slowly sipped the water. Yes, the water was helping her headache.

"Duckworth was here, but the bad guy hurt him. He had this gun that shot electricity. He used it on poor Duckworth. I never heard anyone scream like that before. When the bad guy took him he wasn't moving." Webby said anxiously.

"I think the bad guy is the one that hurt Mr. Crackshell at the bank. He said he's planning on selling us to get back at him and Unca Scrooge." Louie said. He pointed to the camera on the wall. "That's been on since he took Duckworth." Gander's attention was directed to the small camera. The red light blinked steadily. Gander continued to surveyed their surroundings. It looked rather bleak, but she had to keep their spirits up, somehow. She noticed that each of their hands were tried. That gave her an idea.

"Do you remember last year or so when Fenton was really interested in magic tricks"

"Not really" The children exchanged confused looks.

"Well, he showed me some of his escape tricks. Maybe I can twist these ropes here and wiggle my wrist here" The children watched as she struggle with her ropes for a few minutes, before long they loosened enough for her to slip out of them "Tadda, now lets see what we can do about yours." Soon enough all of them were untied. "That's better" Gander nodded with approval. "Now have you four slept since you've been here" The young ducks shook their head no. "Alright how about you lay here and rest, I'll keep watch, and I tell you the story of the Duck with the Long Feather" The children laid down beside her as she told them the story.

***************************Hours later************************************

Gander was deep in thought. Her headache was doing much better, thank goodness. She was also relieved that the children fell asleep so quickly after she started the story. They have been asleep for hours. It disturbed her what the children said about the camera and that Del Fox told them they were being sold. She was able to put two and two and it made her sick. Her first thought was to cover the camera with a bed sheet but considering what the little ducks said about Duckworth scared her. She didn't know what came of him. Who knows what Del Fox was capable of doing. She silently prayed that the butler was ok. She only met him a handful of times, but he was always very polite and sweet. Fenton spoke highly of him too. She couldn't bare the thought that the nice gentlemen was hurt.

Just then Del Fox barraged in, jerking the small ducks awake. Gander was on her feet standing in front of the kids just as quickly.

" What do you want?" She glared at the form in front of her mustering all the courage she had.

"Aren't you hungry?" Holding a bag of fast food in one hand. She noticed there was a bundle under his arm as well "Unless, none of you are hungry today" As he put on a smirk.

She looked back to the kids, they were staring at the bag with hungry eyes, 'yep the children were definitely hungry' She thought. She reached out her hand to take the bag but Del Fox pulled it away. "Things come with a price around here" He then grabbed her by the arm with his free hand pulling her close to whisper in her ear. Her eyes went wide when she heard the price he was asking; before she could stop herself she slapped him.

His eyes was blazing, rubbing the red mark from his cheek. In a rage, he dropped his items, pushed Gander against the wall and held her by the throat. Her hands grasping at his hands to free herself. The children were pleading for him to stop. He came in close and whispered "You will do what I want. Be sure of that and if you try a stunt like that again the children will pay. Do you understand?" Gander nodded slowly, tears forming at the corners of her eyes. She fell to the floor gasping for air. Del Fox bent down. "Perhaps, I was asking to much, especially for the first meal. How about this, you wear this and I give you the food?" Del Fox was holding out the unfolded bundle he came in with. A very revealing short teddy. She blushed just staring at it. "This will spice up the bidding for your auction."

The young ducks exchanged concerned looks. "Miss Dee we're not hungry. Honest." Said one of them, she wasn't sure which.

Del Fox came in close to Gander. Enjoying seeing her flinch at his closeness and whispered in her ear "If you don't wear this, I promise you I'll put it on the little girl"

Gander's eyes hardened as she grabbed the offending outfit. "I'll wear the damn thing! Where do you want me to put it on!"

Del Fox smirked pointing to the floor "Right here" Gander's resolved diminished a bit as she realized he expected her to disrobe here right in front of him, the children, and the camera. She steeled herself and turned around as she begun to change.

"We won't look, Miss Dee, Don't worry" The boys and Webby assured her as they turned around. She nodded her thanks. She was on the verge of tears and didn't trust her voice not to crack. Once she was done turned back around feeling very vulnerable, exposed, and slightly sick as Del Fox stood before her leering at her. She never wore an outfit like this before. She could feel her cheeks getting hot as tears stung her eyes and her hands tighten into clenched in fists at her sides. Del Fox nodded approvingly "Now was that so hard" Del Fox mocked. Exchanging her clothes on the floor with the bag of fast food. He shook his head and whistled "With a body like that, you could have had a real man, like me. Why you settled for that dumb Crackshell is beyond me?"

"Fenton is ten times the man you are!" Gander responded through gritted teeth. Willing herself to stay strong and to not let this creep see how embarrassing she found this.

"Is that so?" smirked Del Fox, grabbing the bed covers from the beds. "Well, I'm going to take these then. Don't want you hiding that body of yours from the buyers. I'll be looking forward to my original payment for the next meal" He laughed as he slammed the door behind him.

Once the door closed, Gander collapsed to the floor in tears. The children ran to her. "It will be ok Miss. Dee. Don't cry" They tried to console her. She hugged them close as she continued to sob. Fenton please find us. She silently pleaded, I can't do what he asked of me. I just can't.

***************************At McDuck Manor*************************

Fenton stared at the screen in front of him. When Gander finally woke up last night he was so relieved. He was proud that she remembered some of the ropes tricks he taught her last year. However, that created a long line of certain comments in the chat room about rope use. His mother forced him to bed after that. It was no use though. He couldn't sleep and came back down here. He thought, maybe there is something in the video, a clue that somehow everyone else missed. He simply taped a piece of paper over that part of the website. He was so focused on her he didn't hear Mr. McDuck come in.

"I wish I would of thought of that trick yesterday" Fenton jumped in surprise. "Sorry, laddie, I didn't meant to startle ye"

"It's ok, Mr. McDuck, I just know didn't know you were there. How is Duckworth doing?" Fenton asked

"The doctor is concerned about his heart, they think that monster used a taser was on him." Scrooge growled at the last part. "He woke up while I was there but they had to sedate him. He wasn't able to say much, only that he thought they might have been in Downtown Duckburg. I'm having Mrs. Beakley stay with him. I also had the Duckburg police place a guard at the room." Scrooge sighed "I just spoke to the officer stationed here, there's been no headway with the link that was sent to Glomgold. I called Gyro, he's going to see if he can take a crack at it. How's your mother doing?"

"She's doing great if you can believe it. She is more concerned that her new TV was destroyed rather than the attempt on her life. She's just really happy she is back in the house with the cable package, though I might warn you she may have upgraded your cable package. She was with me when Gander woke up she wanted me to stop watching this. Can you imagine her telling anyone not watch something."

New movement caught their attention as they saw Del Fox enter the video. There was no audio for them to hear what was being said.

"Don't touch her" Fenton growled, when he saw Del Fox grab Gander. The smile that played across his beak when she slapped him was short lived. He was horrified as he witnessed his beloved being choked.

"No, No, Let her go you filthy animal" Fenton screamed at the video. He was vaguely aware that Scrooge was yelling for the officers. After what seemed like an eternity Del Fox let go of Gander. Fenton let out the breathe he didn't realize he was holding. He could see she was breathing, gasping for air but that was ok, it meant she was alive. His face fell when he saw what was being held in front of her. "No" he whispered as he realized what she was being forced to do. He had to look away, anywhere but the screen in front of him. He looked to Scrooge, that he too was averting his eyes, then to the officers they seemed to be looking elsewhere as well. When he could finally bring himself to look at the screen again. His Gander was wearing that monstrosity. She hated that type of attention. He couldn't imagine the humiliation she felt right now. His heart broke into a million pieces when she collapsed into sobs once that monster left the screen. He clenched his fists as he felt Scrooge place his hand on his shoulder. Scrooge could almost see the smoke coming from the young man's head. Very similar to when his nephew Donald is about to lose his temper

"Duckworth said he thought they were held Downtown." Fenton growled

"He thought he saw rundown buildings" Scrooge responded.

"Then that's where I'm going. I'll knock on every door if I have to." He stated flatly as he took up his suitcase. Scrooge watched Fenton march out the door. He knew there was nothing he could say to dissuade the young lad, how it was a needle in a haystack or how impossible it might be. Hell, he wanted to do the same thing. Would be to if the police department didn't threaten to withdraw their assistance if he did just that. "Good Luck, Lad" Scrooge sighed as an eureka moment struck him. Luck! that's exactly what they needed right now. He grabbed a map of Duckburg from the pile papers on the counter and chased after Fenton with it. "Fenton", he called as caught up to him. Scrooge scribbled an address in the corner.

"Before ye head downtown, stop at this address, that's where one of me nephews lives. Tell him you work for me and that we need help with figuring out a location." Fenton gave him a confused look. Scrooge continued " Trust me he will do the rest and he will knew we must be desperate if we're asking him for help"

***************************Meanwhile at the Room*********************

The boys were exchanging nervous glances at each other. Uncle Donald and Uncle Scrooge both stressed to them since as long as they could remember how important it was to respect girls. They never really thought about what that meant until now as they tried to calm Miss Dee. Soon her sobs were began to subside.

"I'm sorry children, thank you. I'm ok" As she shaky stood back up and sat on the bed. "So what do we have in the bag?" Trying to change the topic.

"It looks there are a bunch of egg and cheese sandwiches with hash browns" Huey said as he peered into the bag. "Would you like one?"

"One of the hash browns please" She wasn't sure he could eat anything more. She tugged subconsciously at the hem of the teddy. "Thank you" as Webby brought her one. The children each took a sandwich. The children talked amongst themselves, Gander stayed mostly quiet, keeping an eye on the door.

Fenton just arrived at the address of Mr. McDuck's nephew that he jotted down on the map. Fenton was still fuming on what he saw on the screen. He wasn't sure why Mr. McDuck would send him here before heading downtown, but he trusted the older man enough to follow his directions. It's not like he would send him on a wild goose chase at a time like this. He stepped up and knocked at the door. Surprised, that a young male goose about his age answered. "Oh, boy what did a I win this time, a exotic cruise or a new car" The goose who answered wearing an orange coat and blue scarf squealed.

"Neither, My name is Fenton Crackshell, I work for Mr. McDuck" Fenton explained.

"Bless my lucky stars...That's even better, I always love lending Uncle Scrooge a hand. Besides, I already won one of each those today. I'm Glandstone Gander, the luckiest duck in the world." Ushering Fenton into his house. Packages with the bright word "Winner" were piled about the house. Once inside Gladstone plopped himself into a overstuffed chair "Won this baby two weeks ago in a raffle. Can you believe it?" Fenton shook his head in the negative. He wondered who else could possibly be in Mr. McDuck's family tree.

"Well, lets get down to business. Uncle Scrooge has to be at his wits end to be sending someone here for MY help."

Fenton quickly explained the recent events that occurred. How Mr. McDuck's butler was recovering in the hospital and that the children and his fiancée were abducted by a deranged disgruntled employee hell bent on revenge by selling them off. Mr. McDuck hoped that Gladstone could help with figuring out their location. Taking out the map of Duckburg. Fenton continued "He said you would know what to do"

Gladstone stared down at the map. He was always fond of the triplets, sending them some of the toys he won time and again. What bunch of bad luck for the McDuck household to run into. He had to help, but this required his extra special charm. He grabbed his lucky horseshoe from above the door, gave it a big kiss, closed his eyes and tossed it onto the map. It landed in the section of the map for Downtown Duckburg. One point of the horseshoe landed on what looked to be a fast-food place and the other end landed on a warehouse a block or so away. Fenton looked up warily at the good luck duck. He sighed he might as well start there. "Thank you, Mr. Gander, I really hope this helps"

"Call me Gladstone, Don't worry, it will, my Good Luck never fails. Good Luck today and call me when you get those kids home"

After leaving Gladstone's house, he made his way downtown towards the warehouse that was indicated by the lucky horseshoe. It took him most of the afternoon to find it. The sun was already hanging low in the sky. Right next to the warehouse was a small alley way. He crept to it and found there was a fire escape that lead to a window. He climbed up it and peered in. Gladstone's luck was true couldn't believe his eye, inside was Del Fox monitoring several computer screens. As much as Fenton would have loved to jump down there and throttle the villain, he couldn't risk it. He pulled out his phone and called Mr. McDuck

" Hello, ... I found Del Fox he's in the abandoned warehouse on Woodpecker Lane, Gladstone's Good Luck lead me straight to him. ...I actually don't see them but I think they are here...should I change into you know who...Ok yes I understand." Fenton hung up his cell phone and continued to watch from his perch.

********************************At the Mansion **************************

Ring Ring the phone rang as Scrooge startled at the sound. He grabbed at it.

"Hello...Fenton...What that's great news...Do you see the children or Gander Dee ...No just yet, only in case of emergency, I'll be there soon with the police. Once we're there we can surround him this time he won't have anywhere to run.

Scrooge McDuck approached the Police Chief, "My accountant has located Del Fox, we should move in immediately." Scrooge quickly gave the chief the address Fenton gave him and jumped in the squad car.

********************************At the Warehouse*************************

Fenton was watching Del Fox from the fire escape. There faint sound of sirens in the background along with the low rumble of thunder. Fenton looked up and saw that dark clouds have gathered above Duckburg. Just great, he hoped that storm holds off, storms didn't mix well with his Gizmo suit. Loud swearing brought his attention back to Del Fox. A police scanner has whirled to life broadcasting an APB of the current address. "Well, there goes our element of surprise" muttered Fentoned, as Del Fox was alerted of the impending arrival of the authorities. At least, he was still here and he had his suit, if Del Fox decided to make another run for it. He was not going to let that scoundrel get away again. Del Fox was scurrying franticly below looking for something. Fenton gasped as he saw him pull out a block of C4. He's going to blow the building. Del Fox attached it to an external wall of a cube built inside the warehouse.

'That must be where he's keeping them' surmised Fenton. His theory was confirmed when he opened a door to the area and dragged out Gander kicking and screaming towards a black van. Del Fox set the bomb to go off in 2 minutes. There's no time. If he confronted Del Fox now, they would all be blown to smithereens. If he gave chase to him and Gander, the children would die. He couldn't do that. For the second time that day Fenton felt his heart break as he watched Del Fox throw the love of his life into the back of the van.

"Blathering Blatherskite" Fenton yelled clearly frustrated with himself, transforming into his alter ego Gizmoduck. He quickly crashed through both walls into the small room that imprisoned the young ducklings. Grabbed all of them in one swoop and rushed out before covering the young ones right as the building blew.

"Are you little Gizmo buddies alright" Gizmoduck asked as he checked them over.

"Yes Gizmoduck we're fine, but the bad guy took Miss. Dee right before the explosion. You have to find her." Huey exclaimed. Gizmoduck gave him his phone.

"This is Mr. Crackshell's phone, please call your uncle and let him know that you're ok. Stay here; the police and Mr. McDuck should be here any minute." Gizmoduck commanded, before he speeding off in direction that black van went. Using his super visor to pick up the tire trail of the van in no time. "Hold on Gander I'll be there soon" The wind was picking up as lightening crackled in the sky above.

*****************************A top a Parking Garage*******************

"Damn it" Del Fox swore banging on steering wheel. His perfect plan of vengeance was unraveling before him. After all his careful planning too. How the hell did they find out about the warehouse? Del Fox cursed again as he heard the whore in the back pounding on the walls. An evil smile crossed his face, at least she was a small consolation prize. He was going to make sure there wasn't nothing left of that slut after he was done with her. Besides there was payment he was due to collect. He slammed the door shut as he left cab of the van in order to enter the back. He leered at Gander as he climbed in. Ignoring her screams of protest as he grabbed her pulling her down with him on top of her.

"Time to pay up whore" Del Fox mocked as he tried to pin her down. Gander felt her panic rise as she struggled to get out from underneath his weight. See saw that the back door was still ajar. She knew she only had once chance as her fight or flight response kicked in. She kneed him in between the legs, Del Fox released his grasp in her as he howled in pain. She quickly scrambled out the car. She ran as far as she could before she hid behind one of the cars. When a loud crash of thunder echoed overhead and a bolt of lightening struck somewhere close. Several car alarms went off. She felt rain drops fall on her exposed skin. Oh Please let someone find me.

Gizmoduck just landed on the roof of the parking garage when Gander bust out of the back of the black van. She quickly hid behind a vehicle on the other side of the lot from him both him and the van. Del Fox crawled out a moment later screaming in pain. Gizmoduck nodded approvingly, serves you right you fowl oaf. Suddenly, a bolt of lightening crashed down several feet away from Gizmoduck. Oh No! Fenton cursed himself, the garage was several stories tall being so high up was causing his Gizmo suit to attract lighting. He had no choice but to take it off. He couldn't risk electrocuting Gander. Once his suit was safely stowed away in his case. Fenton looked up and was horrified to see that Del Fox was getting uncomfortably close to Gander's hiding spot. He was going to find her in a minute or so. Fenton picked up his case and ran towards Del Fox coming up from his behind. Del Fox never even saw him coming as Fenton slammed the case with all the force and strength he could muster right on top of his head. The case went skidding to the edge of the roof as Del Fox collapsed to his knees.

Fenton tackled Del Fox which brought him to the ground. He quickly moved on top of him, grabbed the collar of his shirt, and punched him hard. He followed up with another punch and another. Finally, he was releasing all the anger and fear he's been holding back since Gander went missing. He didn't stop until he felt her sweet touch on his shoulder. Reality came crashing back as Fenton looked down and the bruised face before him. Horror flickered across Fenton's face quickly letting god Del Fox shirt almost as he if he was burned. He quickly got off of him and stared at his hands still clenched into fist.

"I, I" Fenton shuttered, he couldn't form the words he wanted to say. He wasn't sorry that he punched the monster. If fact he was very happy he did so, but he was upset that could he let himself lose control. He was suppose to be a force of good wasn't he? He looked into Gander's eye looking for answers. The one he received was her pulling him into a big hug.

"What a touching scene" Del Fox jeered. Snapping the two back to reality as he pulled Gander away from Fenton. Dragging her away from Fenton and towards the edge with him.

"No" Both Gander and Fenton screamed as they reached towards each other. Suddenly another bolt of lighting struck the garage making Del Fox lose his balance and topple over the edge. Pulling Gander back as he fell.

"No" Fenton screamed he leaping after her. Grabbing her mid-air, rolling in air so he would be cradling her on top of him "Blathering Blatherskite, Gander I got you" Gander didn't have time to wonder who had him as she felt the electricity of the storm tingle in the around her. Gander closed her eyes tightly as she prepared to brace herself for the impact that she was sure to come. It never came even after she heard the sickening thud of another body falling beside her.

"Gander, dear open your eyes. You're safe my love" She heard her Fenton's voice. She opened them to where Fenton's voice and found that she was looking to Gizmoduck's visor. She was laying on top him actually. How did that happened? She realized she and Gizmoduck were alone on an empty street. Del Fox's body laid splattered on the sidewalk next to her. She quickly looked away from the gruesome scene.

"Where's Fenton?" Gander asked looking for her beloved. Gizmoduck gently placed his hand to her check directing her to his visor as his visor opened. She was staring into Fenton's eyes.

"Right here." Fenton replied timidly as his eyes were now visible in the open visor. "Are you hurt?" He asked cautiously. Gander stared at him.

"The children! There was a bomb!"

"They are safe. I rescued them myself" Fenton nodded. Gander was still staring at him while she was processing all this information. "Are you hurt" asked Fenton again with more concern.

"Fenton, you're Gizmoduck. " Gander stated

"I'm so sorry Gander, I should have told you sooner. Please forgive me." Fenton pleaded

"This explains quite a bit actually. Oh Fenton I'm ok now, I'm so happy you're here with me. I missed you so much." Gander started to sob as she threw her arms around him.

Fenton wrapped his robotic arms around her "I missed you too" Fenton sighed in contentment. The rain were heavier now, pouring down onto them as they continue their embrace.
