Ethan Dalloway's gaze scanned the room. Finally coming to rest on Marnie Piper, the beautiful witch he had met only a few short year(s?) ago… She was beautiful with a slender face and elegant features paired with dark brown hair and light blue eyes, her skin was pure ivory color and it was impossible to see a flaw therein. That paired with a enigmatic personality made her impossibly and undeniably only of the few true beauties in the either worlds.
Marnie Piper was talking with a classmate when she felt a pair of eyes on her… She turned to meet the eyes of a certain wizard across the room. She felt his eyes pierce her own and felt a blush start to creep up her neck… It was hard to say when she had realized that she, Marnie Piper-Cromwell, had started to fall for Ethan. Perhaps it was at the beginning of the year, she couldn't quite remember, but she did remember that she felt like the floor had dropped out from beneath her feet and that a swarm of butterflies had been a flurry in her stomach.
Ethan was actually quite handsome with somewhat spiked blonde hair and blue-gray eyes. He wasn't much taller than her too, and that was always a bonus…
Marnie could remember when they had first kissed. Fireworks had gone off in her head as his lips brushed against hers and as his hands had gently slid down to her hips where he pulled her a little closer to him.
Not to long after they had started dating…after the whole nasty situation with the Sinister Sisters had been dealt with, that is. It felt like ages ago that had been, when in reality it was only 5 short weeks ago that they had left the seriousness of the evil conspirators that threatened to overtake their home and enslave them all for an eternity of despair and possible death… That was really only 5 weeks ago?
Ethan made his way through the crowd towards his girlfriend. Wrapping an arm around her waist as he came up to her from behind.
"Hey." She grinned at him, turning around in his arms part of the way and leaning up slightly to kiss him gently on the lips…
"Hey." He grinned back as he held her close.
"Ready to go to the Mortal World to re-meet my mother?" She asked, looking up at him with a mischievous glint in her piercing blue eyes.
"I think that will be one of the easier things we've faced." Ethan replied with a slight chuckle as Marnie pulled out of his embrace and he slid his arm around her waist once again, pulling her gently against his side where she fitted quite nicely, he noted.
