Hello, this is a very very short one-shot.
NOTE: I'm not a shounen ai fan, but my friend requested this. Since she drew many many stuff for me Including a Prince Roxas, I can't say no. ; It took me quite long to do this, since I had a bit of writer's block and it's hard imagining them doing stuff like this.
Disclaimer: I do not own Kingdom Hearts. :D
Nothing is perfect in this world.
Perfection is full of lies, just a delusion and it lasts momentarily.
Perfectionists are merely those who want to satisfy their own wishes and fancies.
That was what I thought.
"Riku, don't you think humans carry such heavy burdens?" Sora's eyes searched through the stretched horizon, watching the waves going to and fro. The sky was near dusk and the wind was somewhat strong. His chocolate coloured hair somehow blended into the fading light.
"That's unlike of you, asking such a deep question," Riku grabbed a handful of sand and watched it slip away from his fingers; just like the hourglass.
Sora pouted childishly, his brows knitted together, "You're not answering my question."
"There's no need to answer. You surely do know it."
"I do?"
Riku gave a small smile and nodded. Sora frowned deeper and gave up minutes later. "Just tell me wouldn't you? It's just a yes or no."
The silver headed laughed at his seriousness. It was rare for Sora to ponder over a small question like that. "Yes, I do agree. Aren't you silly? Don't waste time over such problems."
Sora did not always enjoy getting teased by people. As nice as he was, sometimes he could get irritated. But Riku was an exception. They grew up together, went through life and death before. He had to search for so long, and they were finally back to where they belong.
No more traveling… no more pain.
A place to call home.
By the time they settle themselves again, the sun was sinking down into the sea. The water glimmered, just like endless diamond dusts afloat on the ocean. The breeze of the late evening waters was surprisingly fresh.
"Let's say…"
"Hmm?" Riku looked to the left, where Sora was sitting.
"If we were to go on a journey again… You will come with me, right?"
Riku struck shock at the question. He knew he should not be. It was something common from Sora; he was always kind.
And he hated loneliness, separation.
Suddenly, Riku felt a soft thud on his left shoulder, Looking over, he saw Sora sleeping, his breathing slow and steady.
Smiling silently, Riku looked to the ocean again before taking Sora's hands into his.
"Yeah, I'll come with you."
Even if nothing is perfect, things would seem to be because there are you.
There's no need to live in denial…
Because life is a long journey with a destination.
I'm sure, someday; I'll reach the destination, with you.
