Roxas ♥ Kairi
Just One of those Rainy Days
-- and we loved it --
------------------------------------
So we were both bored and she invited me over.
It's not that big of a deal, is it?
It was raining and cool outside and she had a covered balcony. Board games got boring, no good movies on, and just sitting and talking wasn't good enough. So, we went out on the balcony and sat down and got separate blankets and she made two mugs of the finest hot cocoa – direct from the bag, stirred, with those little marshmallows. The rained ripped from the roof, and fell to the mossy grass below. The skies were gray and purred with soft thunder.
"Thanks for inviting me," I said, rubbing at the hot cocoa mustache on my lip. She laughed, tucking her legs to her chest and pulling her blanket over her bare shoulder more. I just realized she had really pretty, soft looking skin.
"No problem," she said with a nice smile. I just realized how sweet her face was, how pink her lips were, how blue her eyes could be; how red her hair, how petite her figure. How delicious her words, her laugh, her smile. I found myself staring, and when she stared back, I was nervous.
"Oh, you have some …." She poked her cheek and stared at me with wide eyes, mentioning I had something on my face. I swiped at it, but she shook her head. I didn't get it off or something, for she leaned over and swiped it off herself. I noticed my face was red and I felt stupid, but she just softly smiled and pulled back.
"Thanks," I murmured, sipping at my cocoa. It was quiet and I realized we were sitting relatively close, but for the moment, I didn't care. Had we consciously scooted closer together, for warmth? Who knows? The blankets were pretty thin.
The steam from my drink curled around my face and I closed my eyes. It felt good.
Then her head gently fell on my shoulder and that felt better.

So two blankets turned into one and we cradled into each other's warmth for hours on the balcony. The hot cocoa was finished, the rain continued to fall, and the day slowly sunk into night. My arms were around her, her head gently against my chest. I know that it was wrong to be sharing hot cocoa and sharing the rainy day and sharing this blanket and this feeling with her – it just felt wrong.
But, I liked it. It felt wrong, but good, and I kept it that way.
So, closing my eyes and feeling her steady breathing against my neck, we both dozed off with the lullaby of the rain pattering against the roof and the smell of hot cocoa lingering in the air.

Authoress Notes: (ya' hear?)
So the line break tool hates me.
uh, anyway.
First Roxiri story (I .. think.)
I kinda' like how it can be anyone and Kairi though. But I think Roxas' personality is more so here than other's.
So it is just some little one-shot thing, yah, I know. I meant it to be that way. Thsi is what came out when it rained today and I had some hot cocoa and wanted to write some Roxiri or Kingdom Hearts in general.
Right.
I DO NOT OWN Kingdom Hearts.
If I did - why the hell would I be writing so many fanfiction about them if I already wrote such a grand story? D: Uh, duh.
COMMENT PLEASE. I luff ya'. - Kiyoshi
