AN/ I would like to thank LilCosette for helping me with the planets I list in this fic. Most of them are from the old series. Part of my TARDIS 100 series. One shot, TARDIS POV. I do not own Doctor Who, but I do own two of the planets I list. They're from my fic, 'Come What May.'

"Where? Where are we going next?"

When my Doctor was tempting Rose Tyler to come with him, he told her that "this box isn't just a London hopper, you know. It goes anywhere in the universe, free of charge." It's true. I can't see why anyone would want to stay at home when I can take you anywhere. When you travel with the Doctor, 'where' is half the experience. When you use me to get you from place to place, where you are is just as important as when you are.

I've landed in so many different locations, most of them quite random. Space stations, galaxies, forests, fields, closets, living rooms, back alleys, and street corners. But the 'where' of how I travel is more than that though. Oh, so much more.

I can take you to any city, any country. Want to go to London, England? You're there. Cardiff, Wales? Not a problem. What about Scotland, America, Canada, Australia, Japan, Italy, France, Norway, China, Mexico…

And that's just for one small planet. I can take you to so many more in so many different solar systems and galaxies all across the universe. There's Earth, New Earth, Alzarius, Canadmanipegwinntoba, Adelalia, Agora, Raxacoricofallapatorius, Barcelona, Justicia, Sarn, Lobos, Mars, Pluto, Women Wept, Castrovalva, Telos, Logopolis, Manussa, Androzani Minor, Frontios, Deva Loka, Svartos…

And innumerable others.

We may not want to visit them all, however. Some of these planets hold poisonous and painful memories; Deaths, monsters and regenerations. We shall not be visiting them again if we can help it.

Then there are the planets we can never visit again, but for a different reason. That reason is plain and simple: for better or for worse, they are gone. Gallifrey and Skaro. The two opposites, mortal enemies, both victims of war. It is almost ironic that they should share the same fate, yet at the same time, it seems fitting.

Even still… I miss not being able to go home. I've had to find a new home in the spaces between the stars and planets. For now… this suits me just fine.

"So, Doctor, where are we going next?"

"So, old girl… where to next?"

Where?

Anywhere you want.
