"I still don't see why you couldn't just call a mechanic."
"Too expensive. Anyway, I don't trust them."
"And you trust me? I'm flattered."
House rolled his eyes. "I told you, I dropped a wrench in while I was tightening something or other. You just have to get it out." He waved his hand in the direction of the open hood of the car with the air of someone commanding that the work be recommenced.
Wilson sighed and bent back over the front of the Corvette, looking for the non-existent wrench. House stepped back and continued to enjoy the view.
