Hey guyz! This is officially my second fanfic overall, and my first NaruSaku fanfic EVER! Enjoy, cuz I reckon they make a cute couple. (NaruHina isn't bad either, lol.)
Disclaimer: sasusaku4eva does not own Naruto or any of its characters! (But she owns this story!)
Broken Tsubasa
It was late afternoon, and Uzumaki Naruto, a Jounin of seventeen, was walking out of the Hokage's office.
His stomach grumbled, and he increased his pace until he stopped outside a balcony door.
Why? Because he had just caught a glimpse of his teammate, Sakura, and despite his angry stomachs protests, decided that he would pay her a visit.
"I Never thought I'd see you here, Sakura-chan!"
Upon hearing her name, the pink-haired Medic turned around.
"Ohayou, Naruto." She greeted vaguely, before turning back to the thing in her hand.
Naruto frowned and looked over her shoulder at the thing that was resting in her palm.
It was a bird. A very beautiful one, with light pink feathers around the tips of its wings. He frowned and was about to ask why it was in her hand, before realising there was something wrong with it.
"It has a broken wing." Sakura said, answering the unsaid question.
"I was just about to ask that." He replied. She giggled, before turning back to the bird.
"You know, I am just like this bird." She said, staring at the sky.
Naruto shot her a confused look. She saw this, and smiled.
"We both start off as a weak hatchling, before learning how to survive by the people around us."
Naruto knew she was talking about Kakashi-sensei and Tsunade.
"So many problems come our way, and maybe once or twice, we will lose our ability to fly. We struggle, until someone comes along, and heals our broken wings, so that we can fly again."
Naruto nodded, mouth agape. Sakura smiled sadly.
"However, unlike this bird, no-one has come along and healed my wings yet. I can not have the joy of soaring into the sky." A tear slid down her face.
Naruto smiled, he had finally understood the secret meaning beneath her words.
He carefully leant down and gently brushed her tears away. He felt her stiffen because of the contact, and embraced her thin frame. He ran his fingers through her hair and kissed her softly. Once again, she stiffened from kiss, but slowly relaxed into it.
When he finally broke the kiss, he leant down and whispered in her ear:
"Let me heal your broken wings."
Ta da! Done! Plz don't blame me if this story sucked like hell, I wrote it in five minutes, and was bored!
Also, Plz Plz Plzzzz review! Constructive criticism is welcome!
