Hello, how are you?
A collection of Batman's responses to this seemingly innocent question. Please Review, feedback really helps when choosing what to write.
Oddly enough this is another monday afternoon gag, thought up inbetween writing serious stories. Enjoy!
'Hello Batman, how're you doing?'
Batman looked at Wally West and wondered if he could electrocute him with a taser before he sped away. Instead as he was sitting in the watch tower's cafeteria he raised his fork slowly and deliberately in his right hand and smiled knowingly. The Flash squeaked something about tofu and went to relieve GL of monitor duty. Batman put his fork down and flipped open a notepad he retrieved from his utility belt. He wrote the name the Flash and then five seconds. Not bad he thought to himself. He carried on eating his English breakfast Alfred had provided.
'Hey Batman, sup?'
Kyle Rayner, the Green Lantern moved next to him on the observation platform. He began tapping his fingers on the railing but stopped as he noticed the Bat-Glare. Two devious blue eyes told him no matter how powerful the green lantern's ring was this guy could eat him for brunch. He moved away slightly and mumbled under his breath.
'I, uh…' He then used the ring to fly back through to the corridor to where he had come from.
Batman snorted. And this guy was supposed to have will power…? He jotted Five point eight seconds in his note book.
'Hi Bruce, how are you feeling?'
Bruce glared at Clark, who had actually meant it, and thought about reaching for the kryptonite in his belt. It would be painful. He would deserve it. Although there could be another way to break the kryptonian… Bruce then smiled grimly and held up his mobile phone. The dial number read Lois Lane. Clark gulped and stuttered.
'Bruce that really isn't necessary… I mean Lois is really busy at the moment and she made me promise I'd…'
Bruce raised an eyebrow, satisfied as the man of steel flew away red cape billowing behind him. Seven seconds, best time yet against the most powerful Meta-human on the planet. He really should try that again sometime.
'Hello how are you?'
Nightwing hung upside down from the training frame, the lopsided grin spread across his face as his mentor frowned at him. Robin was working on one of the motorbikes nearby watching Nightwing's one way conversation with interest. Batman sat by the computer facing away from him.
'Tough day at the office, huh?' Batman switched on a few more servers as he dug up information on a burglary crime spree in the south of Gotham.
'Too bad. But you didn't give the fellers a hard time didja?' Nightwing swung up from the frame and executed a perfect double somersault. Batman shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
'Now, now, Bruce you know you're supposed to say sorry and curtsey,' at that Bruce simply left the computer station and drove off in the Batmobile, he could ask Oracle later. Robin and Nightwing high-fived and burst out laughing. Barbara Gordon's picture appeared on screen, curious.
'What do you think of that, Babs? Ten seconds!'
