Author's Note: This is a tribute to the four most under loved military guys on the show: Havoc, Breda, Falman and Fuery. I am not bashing any of the characters on the show; I just wanted to highlight these particular four. Read and Review if you want but Flames will be transmuted into chocolate bars for me! Thanks!

Four Officers

Second Lieutenant Jean Havoc. Second Lieutenant Heymans Breda. Warrant Officer Vato Falman. Sergeant Major Kain Fuery.

Four names for four men. None of them were like Our First Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye who was Our Colonel Roy Mustang's right hand but they followed Our Mustang too, loyally supporting him.

They obeyed his orders even when they didn't understand them. They trusted his judgment and believed in his cause. They risked their lives and careers for him.

However, they are the unseen. They live in the shadows. They are passed over in favor of the more popular characters like Our Eds and Als or Our Roys.

They live in the quiet at the back of our minds, only being pulled out to the light when we need an extra character for a scene.

We made them play pranks on Our Roys just to see if we could annoy him. Many times in Our eyes they were simply characters used to torment Our Mustangs and to make his life harder.

However, they have their own stories too. The four of them formed a bond as strong as it was strange, a bond created by the color of the uniforms that they all wore.

When danger is the closest and the wolves are at the door we start finding ourselves depending on those four to fill in all of the gaps that Our Roys, Rizas, Eds, and Als can't fill. They defend the home front while the others go to the heart of the matter. If it wasn't for them working behind the scenes we all know that Our Heros could never succeed against all of their enemies.

They were more then soldiers though. They were men each with their own personalities and ideas, dreams and fears.

Many times we made fun of those fears, instructing Our Roys to steal Our Havocs girlfriend yet again, forcing Our Bredas to spend time with dogs of every shape and kind, making Our Falmans and Our Fuerys wander around in the dark looking for ghosts.

Though we laughed we couldn't help but be intrigued by these men and their untold stories. While we poked fun at Our Bredas as he hid on top of his desk we wondered what had happened to make him so afraid of dogs.

We smiled as the comical tears that always seemed to be streaming down Our Fuerys face but we wondered how he had stayed so innocent for so long.

As much as Our Falmans stiff and formal attitude amused us we were curious as to how he'd become so uptight.

Even as we smirked when Our Havocs lost another girl part of our hearts was hurting for him and we debated about if he'd ever fall in love for real.

We locked them in the office, we sent them to war zones, we shocked them, scared them and terrified them but somehow we never really thought about them. We were amused but we weren't fascinated. Somehow they were overshadowed by the larger characters and they stayed in those shadows waiting for their chance in the sun.

Their chance will come and then their stories will be told. So while we will always be fascinated by Our Roys and Our Eds lets also try to remember Our Havocs, Falmans, Bredas, and Fuerys. For without them, Our Roys, Eds, Rizas, and Als would have died a long time ago.
