In Another Life

Disclaimer: I don't own Warcraft.

A/N: This is a drabble. A drabble is precisely 100 words, so please don't complain about how short it is.

Sometimes, when she puts her son to bed, Jaina stops to think about the life she might have had.

It's not that she isn't happy with Terethas, because she is. It's not that she doesn't love him or little Daelin, because she does. It's just that ever since she got married, she has felt out of place. Like she, as a wife and a mother, is somehow wrong to remain the leader of Theramore and not dedicate all her time to her family.

And though she's had trouble admitting it to herself, Jaina does sometimes wish Daelin's skin was green.
