Author's Notes: Episode III Spoilers warning. Takes place in some unknown time period after EpIII when chaos and KOS-MOS have returned. Have I mentioned lately that I demand a sequel?

At first, there was no thought at all. The only word to describe it was instinct.

A fever he had not felt for millenia was sweeping through him with the force of a storm. The sudden intensity of it made him heady as he clutched her tightly in his embrace. He was like a thirsty man discovering the taste of water again for the first time in ages. A sweetness almost forgotten over the expanse of time. This press of warm bodies and urgency of soft lips and tongue. The demanding roar of something long dormant within his heart.

Waves and waves of warmth. Lost in that tight little world of pleasure and heat, nothing else seemed to matter. Sometimes his eyes would open just a little. Flashes of lustful crimson. Meshed sapphire and silver strands. KOS-MOS.

There was no way to hold her close enough, no matter how he tried. Her hands were exploring his back, moving under his jacket, her touch making him groan. His blood was racing, her heart beating wildly against his chest. Groping, clawing, struggling. Primal. The thing inside him that screamed for the mate it had not touched for thousands of years. Something crashed to the ground, but it was nothing more than a distant sound. There was only the thumping, beating, throbbing, wave of heat that compelled them to tear into each other.

"Yeshua..." She half moaned, half sobbed, as his mouth found her shoulder.

His eyes opened, and he came to a sudden stop, even though he was still shuddering with the impulses raging through him. With much difficulty, he pulled away, keeping his hand between them. Both of them disheveled, clothing torn, dazed, still panting with lust. "N-No." He finally breathed out. "We can't do this."

"Why not?" KOS-MOS looked hurt.

chaos turned his head away, pained to see that expression on her face. He licked his lips. "KOS-MOS. You're only doing this because your memories tell you that you love me. Maybe it's the same for me. I don't know... That's why we can't."

With a small frown, KOS-MOS turned his face towards her. "We can't even trust our own feelings now?"

To stay away from her was almost physically painful. "I want to, but... I think we should slow down. Just to be safe. To be sure." He smiled and clasped her hand in both of his. "We still have time."

Eyes gentling into a smile of her own, KOS-MOS nodded. "All the time in the world, Yeshua."

"Call me chaos." He entreated with a small bow, kissing the back of her hand.

KOS-MOS laughed softly. "...chaos."
