"Kikyo..."

"Inuyasha..."

"...Why are you still here, aren't you suppose to be with that girl that looks like me?" she replied harshly.

"I-I wanted to say that-"

"Save it! I am no longer alive, yet why do you even still care? You betrayed me once before, why should I trust you?" she sneered.

"..I know all that but, I just wanted to see you one last time.." he whispered.

"..."

"Kikyo, I wanted to say that I love you no matter what, but now, you have done nothing but ignored me and have tried to hurt Kagome."

She flinched at the girls name.

"...Right now I love her as much as I used to love you. But since you have turned your back on me. I suppose its a good bye now." as he turned his back on her she looked at him and said

"Wait Inuyasha!"

He paused but did not look back.

"...I ...do not love you anymore as I once did..."

"I know that, feelings changed. " he said solemnly, eyes down cast.

"...I...I just want one last one before we go our seperate ways ...just one last kiss...before you leave.." she asked as her eyes began to fill with tears.

He turned back and was infront of her, he leaned down and captured her lips with his own. The kiss only lasted short but she only wished it were longer.

He then gave one last glance and walked away. Not once looking back. Tears spilled down both their faces, only Inyasha's tears were hidden and Kikyo's tears were visible on her face. As she watched him go she turned and disappeared into the night. Inuyasha however turned his head to only see the darkness of the night. He sighed and went his way as she went hers.
