This is my first fic so I would appreciate constructive criticism.
Blue
It didn't matter anymore. She was a weak coward. He had always told her otherwise, and now she would never hear it again.
She couldn't even bring herself to visit his grave.
Hinata sat back in the shadows staring at the sun bathed monument that had the names of everyone who had died for the village carved into it. Tears formed in her eyes as she remembered that his name wasn't there.
He had died on a mission. He and his team had gone on reconnaissance, and they never came back. Another team was sent out a couple months later to complete their mission and possibly find them.
According to the report Naruto had become a crazed beast and slaughtered his team. The second team had only survived because by the time they had found him, he was already close to death. In the end there had been nothing worth bringing back to Konoha. According to the report his friends were allowed to see anyway.
Every time she had heard the others ask more questions or insist on more answers they had been walked in circles or allowed to hit walls. They couldn't accept what they had been told. Especially since no one who had had any kind of liking or contact with Naruto before hand had been on either team. But those secrets were kept beyond them for now.
She turned her eyes away into the shadows of the leaves. Life in the shadows. World of secrets.
They could have their secrets, she would keep hers to. All the things her secret lover had done with her, all the things he had told her, and everything he had given her.
Looking up into the blue sky, she could almost smile, almost. She only smiled for his eyes now. Remembering his eyes so clearly she allows the corners of her mouth to curve, she knew that he would have been laughing the moment Haishi saw that his first grandchild had blue eyes.
