Chapter 89

Darkness surrounded her, like limitless times before.

But unlike those moments where she felt part of it, this time she was feeling calmed and protected by it. It's something hard to explain, but for some reason; this darkness is not related to those horrendous monsters that she started to kill as soon as she saw them. She lost count when she found her sensei and saw him get killed in front of her, but when she was about to get revenge for it; someone had the power to stop her with no hand-seals or inhuman strength; and that's what scared her the most.

How a simple name can change her perspective so fast?

Sasuke. . .

Then everything started to make sense. This is Uchiha Sasuke, the one who gave her this ring, the one who had the eyes that she saw in her dreams for the past days, the one who managed to stop her to kill Danzo with just a hug.

Uchiha Sasuke.

But to make things more curious, even in the darkness, she manages to see white feathers falling around her.

No, you'll never be alone…

Hadn't she heard those words before? From where?

When darkness comes I'll light the night with stars…

Then she remembers as tears fell from her eyes, then a tender hand that is drying them; but when she manages to see the hand, it's covered by rose petals.

Hear my whispers in the dark…

Yuki couldn't believe his eyes, in the distance he could see large black wings that belonged to no other than Uchiha Sasuke, who was currently holding Hinata in a tight embrace. Yes, he was glad that he managed to stop her from killing Danzo [although the bastard deserved it]. But he didn't expected to find out that the guy how won over the appreciation of team Zero turned out to be the reincarnation of their most powerful enemy.

Damn it, he's with Hinata for Kami's sake!

Lucifer. . .Uchiha Sasuke is the reincarnation of Lucifer. . .

What kind of sick destiny was prepared for Hinata to end up with the leader of the demons that she fought and killed for so long? This was something so ironic that even Kinomoto Yuki can't understand. While Gaap was laughing his ass off, the blonde ANBU was trying to think rationally. He would have seen the signs, something that even now don't seem to appear. His chakra hasn't changed since the black wings appeared, so it may be a signal.

Or the Uchiha played with them from the beginning?

Then, he started to laugh, making the Demon of Wrath to stop and look at him with a smirk. "Seeing that your world is coming to an end Kinomoto? Or is just that the thought of everything you know will fuck off it's too much to handle? KU KU KU-"

Yuki; "You wish, piece of shit."

Gaap: "What?!"

"Just look at them!" screams Yuki full of confidence, "There's no chakra changes in Sasuke! It means that he MAY BE your leader's reincarnation, but he is STILL Uchiha Sasuke! Orochimaru never managed to take him over with the cursed seal and he won't let a demonic power to do it either!" by this the demon looks at the Uchiha and growls, he was right. With no signs of great chakra there's nothing completed. "The worst thing that happened to you demons is to have the Uchiha be your demon lord! Uchihas are too proud to be controlled!"

Gaap looked at the scene, and even with the determination of the Kinomoto's eyes, he knows that there's still a chance to make it happen. And he knows that because HE hasn't appeared…yet.

Using the moment of distraction, Gaap's army is right behind Yuki, who didn't looked amused at all. "I promised myself to protect those who I care the most." Says the blonde monk while raises his staff, "and sadly for you, those two out there are on my list."

Gaap: "It will be my pleasure to kill you and get your soul. And maybe later I can bet with Amodeus about who fucks your wife first."

Yuki: "We'll see…"

"Argh! It's useless! His chakra is hard to control now! Looks like Naruto is in coma inside of the Kyuubi!" screams Yamato as he tries to gain control of the nine tails. It's said that only an Uchiha can tame such beast, but being the one with the first Hokage's DNA it was worth the try. Sakura, even though her hands were burned by the fire chakra coming from the nine tails, she is trying to reach to Naruto, she knows that without the blonde ninja they won't be able to regain control of the beast. And it seems that the Kyuubi doesn't care at all since he is free once and for all, but something is holding him still with Naruto.

And if it keeps that way he'll have to kill the annoying pest.

Meanwhile Hiro was doing his best to defeat "Uchiha Madara", and even when he hated that he is called after Hinata's little girl, he'll make sure to erase this bastard's existence so the girl will give a new meaning to that name. With that in mind, the red haired ANBU managed to crack the Akatsuki leader's mask, letting it fall into pieces. When his face is revealed, it was he who made the revelation, "Now that my face is revealed, shall I present my real name then?"

With a light chuckle showing one Sharingan eye and one Rinegan eye, he smirks. "This face belongs to Uchiha Obito, forgotten by the son of the White Fang years ago."

Hiro: [raising an eyebrow] "Weren't you dead?"

Obito: "Only the weak ones don't survive."

"And only the weak ones take another identity to not face their sins!" screams the red haired ANBU as he strikes again. He needs to be the winner in this fight. If they don't recover Hinata and stop this madness now, not only Konoha but the rest of the world will be doomed.

Obito: "Ah, a pure blood Nakano talking to me about sins. Isn't your kind the ones who survive drinking the life source of humans? Don't make me laugh."

Sasuke still held Hinata tightly, smelling her natural scent mixed with blood. Although part of him was glad that it wasn't her blood, he didn't want to imagine from whom that blood came from. But what mattered for him now was to recover his wife so they can go and fight together.

Does he feel different? Yes.

Is he happy that Itachi is dead once again? Yes.

But that doesn't leave him in peace. Right now demons took the moment of the attack of the Akatsuki and started an invasion on their own. He has never seen so many at the same place at the same time. They knew that it was the perfect moment to strike, and this time they are not taking prisoners. So when the now dark haired kunoichi looked up and with her wide dark eyes found him and whispered "Sasuke…"

He knew that this may be his last fight, but it will be worth it to the end.

"NARUTOOOOO~~!"

Yamato's scream caught their attention. Then Sasuke saw the nine tails in all its power and he can guess than more than one person is trying to control it. And they can't have the case of having a demon fox destroying in one side while dealing with demons and the Akatsuki at the other. He was thinking what to do when Byako appeared. The white tiger seemed a little bit beaten, so the last Uchiha guessed that even his furry friend had a tough time fighting as well.

"Roaaaaaarrr!" ["Go to Naruto, I'll take care of Hinata!"]

Without thinking twice the dark haired shinobi released his wife, only to feel her hold him tighter. "Sasuke, I-"

"I'll be back Hinata. Stay with Byako," orders Sasuke softly, but Hinata didn't understand why he was talking like she couldn't join the fight when a headache came to her so suddenly that she needed the white tiger to keep balance. "As soon as you feel better you can join the fight. I believe the headache is related to the dark chakra that you were developing before I found you." Then he lifts her chin and places a small kiss on her lips. "The others need you, so recover as fast as you can. They need their ANBU captain. We'll be together very soon, you'll see." And with that he looks at where the nine tails was and activates the Sharingan. "Kurama, I'm going for you." And then runs to the action.

Unknown of him, that kiss may be the really last one.

Sai was out of ink.

He had never been in this predicament, but between the fights and rescuing injured shinobi and civilians he came to a point that he has to decide either retreat with the others or keep fighting. But as the tension in the area increased, he started to think that maybe it was the best for him to leave. He didn't want to become a burden and even with his ANBU skills he knows that without his ability he is pretty useless this time. As he was about to retreat, someone is behind him. "So you are the one with those annoying ink birds, un!"

Turning around, he was face to face with a one-eyed Deidara. When the clay birds stopped to appear he thought that maybe the explosion specialist was defeated, but seeing his half face burned and full of scratches, he can only guess that it was Byako's fault.

"And that damn pussy cat disappeared with that annoying guy with wings!" by this Sai opened his eyes wide. What the hell he is talking about? Was it about the demons? So the Akatsuki is not related to them? Both enemies decided to attack Konoha at the same time?!

"But I'll make sure that I'll take down every Konoha shinobi that I'll see. And guess what, un! You made it to the number one of the list!" and in that moment the clay master released a rather large amount of clay from his right hand. Not thinking twice Sai started to run, looking around him just in case there's any civilian or any ally around him…but then he stopped.

He is a shinobi of the Leaf. He has learned the meaning of friendship because of Naruto and Sakura. He has learned the feeling of belonging to a place thanks [indirectly] to Hinata. And as someone who has learned such things the least that he should do is…sacrifice for them. Turning around, he saw a crazed looking Deidara getting more and more clay out of his hand. And by the size of it he is intending to explode the whole village. Clutching his fists and looking determinate, he runs towards the clay ball.

This impressed the Akatsuki member "Oh so you want to see true art by yourself!? Good choice, un! Good choice…to DIE!"

What either of them expected was to see the ground opening beneath them, swallowing the huge clay ball along with Deidara and closing by itself. Before Sai could react the clay exploded sending him in the air and landing to a fallen building not so far from the area. What he didn't expect was to see himself crushed under a cement wall that fell right over him. In his daze and blood loss, he heard some frantic screams. He guessed that maybe they were civilians or other Konoha shinobi who saw what happened and they are trying to save him, but it's too late.

Before losing consciousness, he managed to see the light and to listen more carefully the screams. And to his heart's joy he recognized one of them "Please Toya, we have to take him out of here!" and while Sai was enveloped into something soft and comfortable he managed to get the strong fresh scent that made him doubt more than once.

He didn't know what was happening; one moment he was fighting one of the Akatsuki members and seconds later he had Tatsuha over him, his tears falling on his face. "So this is what it feels to be finally noticed." Says the dark haired ANBU, "it feels...incredible-"

Tatsuha: "Please, don't close your eyes Sai…!"

Sasuke just managed to get close to where the Kyuubi is located. At first he noticed that Naruto is unconscious and that is a big problem. He may be able with his Sharingan to control the beast but he needs the dobe awake to take it back. So things first...

Sasuke: "Kurama…"

The nine tails, which started the destruction of the remaining of the village, stops his path of destruction and turns around to see over a building the lone figure of Uchiha Sasuke, "Oh, it's you Uchiha. I don't know how you managed to get my real name, but it won't be enough to get me!" with that he sent a fire blast that the young Uchiha barely managed to escape. He knows that the Kyuubi has a lot of chakra, but he needs to win this fast and easy, or he will be too weak to fight the demons and God forbid if he can't in the end protect Hinata.

Kyuubi: "Your chakra is darker than Uchiha Madara, but still I can't sense his malice in you…"

Then the raven haired ninja looks at Sakura and she understands that she must use this moment of distraction to heal Naruto and try to wake him up. Digging her hands deeper in the burning chakra she manages finally to reach Naruto and using the remaining of her strength she manages to pass what was left of her chakra. In three pulsations Naruto opens his eyes, but it takes him time to realize where he was. He sees himself surrounded by fire and just looking up he sees the teary eyes of Sakura. "Naruto…!"

Kurama looks down surprised to see the blonde ninja awake again. "You brat…stay in your slumber you fucking bastard! In fact stay sleeping forever-!"

Sasuke: "Izanami!"

"You fucking Uchiha!" screams the demon fox, "You are descendant of Indra! Reincarnation of Lucifer! Owner of the power that Uchiha Madara will never have! Don't be a fool to send me inside of him again! The world will be your kingdom!"

"I'll have the world whenever I want, just not today." and with that giant chains started to pin down the nine tails. Still fighting the demon fox said profanities and apocalyptic predictions of his power, predictions that even when they unfazed the Uchiha; the few shinobi around him trembled in fear. Then they saw how once again the black wings came out without him noticing, confirming the demon fox's accusations.

But this wasn't the time to question Sasuke; they need to win the war first.

After the Kyuubi is finally sealed inside of Naruto once again, the blonde ninja fell down completely drained. Yamato who is the closest one ran at him and started to pass part of his chakra. He can't let the new seal be weakened just yet. Landing in front of his best friend/rival, the Uchiha couldn't help but chuckle "Once again…I had to save your ass."

Naruto: "Feh, if it wasn't for me you wouldn't come back and got the ANBU captain as your wife teme. Remember that, dattebayo!" Both friends were about to shake hands when a breaking growl got the raven ninja's attention.

It was so loud that it was heard beyond the Leaf.

It was his tiger Byako, but what made him lost it was what the white tiger was screaming…

Byako: ROOOOOOAAAAAARRRR…! ["HINATAAAA…!"]

Seconds ago…

Byako and Hinata were fighting the demons around them; it seemed that they waited for Sasuke to leave to attack. Despite her sudden weakling state the ANBU captain was more than capable to "kick ass", as everyone referred when she was into action. Using her beloved katana and the elements she started to fight them with the same intensity that she was fighting before finding Itachi dead.

Suddenly noticing the amount of fog that started to surround them, she manages to kill the closest demons around her and she uses the wind element to clear out the area. What she manages to see terrifies her:

Although Sasuke seemed to have controlled the Nine Tail fox, she noticed how ANBU Root ninjas and other shinobi started to surround Sasuke. Naruto, Sakura, and Yamato seemed too weakened to even notice. But what made her angry the most was the "killing intent" in those getting close to the Uchiha. Don't they see that he just saved them from the Kyuubi?!

"Sasuke!"

At her impression Byako looks at the same direction and sees how said Uchiha was chaining the demon fox using his Sharingan, but then looks back to see Hinata pretty upset. What's wrong? "They are going to attack Sasuke. What the hell is Tsunade thinking?!" says Hinata and then the white tiger looks at the scene in front of him; no one else is close to that area. No one stupid enough would go there!

Unless…

Is Hinata in a genjutsu-?

Slicing the demons while glaring at scene far from her, the now dark eyed ANBU captain starts to look for the tiger's chakra; only to feel a hand over her shoulder. The force of that hand was something that she never felt before, and for the first time in years, she felt fear running down to her spine.

Looking up she thought that she'll encounter a horrible beast form the underworld, something as monstrous as a Ramjal. But what she saw was the most charming smile that she'll even seen in a living being.

And before everything went blank, she managed to listen one of the demons say his name:

"Mannon…!"

Sasuke ran as fast as he could, he told Sakura to take Naruto where the civilians were hiding since he was too weakened. Close by ran Assaroth who as soon as he heard the tiger's roar he knew something was wrong…terribly wrong.

When they made it to the clearing, they saw the corpses of the demons all over the place and the few remaining alive, were shaking with fear. Then Sasuke saw Byako looking desperately with his nose but not avail. He immediately noticed Hinata's absence.

Sasuke: "Byako-"

"ROOAAR! ROOAR! ROAR!" ["He took her! Under my nose! He used genjutsu!"]

"Who! Tell me who took her!" screamed back the Uchiha, who would be strong enough to take Hinata?! Genjutsu?! She knows about it!

Byako: [ROOAR!] "They called him Mannon!"

With that, he noticed how demons started to walk away from the scene with smirks on their faces, like it was no needed to fight anymore. And noticed how Assaroth let his sword fall from his hands and started to shake. "Assaroth! Who is Mannon!?"

Silence

Sasuke: "Assaroth-!"

"The actual demon Lord!" screams the demon being. With shaking hands he started to hold his face with pain, "He took Lord Lucifer's place when he disappeared. And for years we feared that he may have been looking for power and-"

"What Hinata has to do with him?"

"Everything!"

With those words the Uchiha frowned, "Then take me where he might be. He has taken something that is mine." With that he starts to walk, even Byako can sense that he is pretty angry "He came too late and I won't share Hinata. Not with Itachi, not with Konoha, and not with the world!"

Meanwhile…

She opened her eyes, only to see red. Sitting in a not so comfortable position Hinata realizes that she is not lying on a bed but in a floor full of corpses. Any other may have screamed, but since she knows that she was in the middle of a battle/ invasion something like this would have happened.

Looking up she sees a throne made of bones and sitting in was tall being.

"You are finally awake…"

Standing in a defense position the dark haired ninja looks at him. "Who are you?"

"Oh I just saved you and I get this treatment? Tsk, Hinata what a disgrace." Standing up the figure walks into the light, only to show a short white haired man with red eyes and an outstanding physique. He just reminded her of Assaroth.

Hinata frowns at his words, her memories not so clear. "Why did I need to be saved? I was fighting-"

"It was their last request, you know." He says while extending his hand as a gesture of trust. "I'll show you what happened and then you'll decide what to do with it." And although something felt no right at the moment, she didn't have other choice. After all he said that she can decide with whatever believes him or not.

"This is the underworld, and I know that you fell here before right?" asks casually the being as they walked through long corridors. Hinata is looking everywhere and taking notice for any trap. "Yes and I escaped."

"That's what I was told, but as you know…not everyone does."

"That's what I've heard."

"Did you know…that defending the wrong side also can bring you here?" with that he stops to look at her. "Like if you decide to follow a dictator, only because you believed in his ideals you will end up here." He finished with a smile that may have melted women on Earth.

Frowning by his statement she answers "I'm not following a dictator-"

"And who said that you were the follower."

With that she steps back from him "I am not a dictator. I don't even lead the village."

"Oh," says the demon while scratching his chin, "the humans up there think otherwise." Leaning down so he can be close to her and smelled her hair, "Did you know that the moment that you got powerful and got allies, you were branded as a future dictator?"

"What the fuck are you talking about…?"

"Don't you remember what you saw before I took you here? Of the ANBU and the Root were about to attack Sasuke? Do you think that he was the only one attacked?" with that she opens her eyes wide, she totally forgot about it! Damn it Sasuke must be…

"The thing is, their loyalty to you had a cost…Hinata." With that they started to walk what it seemed to be a fountain of blood with corpses and heads floating on it.

They stood for mere seconds watching the gore scene until she noticed something. "No…"

Among the corpses she noticed a panda bear soaked with blood. "Maybe it's late to let you know that we were late when they decided to start with the Zero kids who were put away with the civilians. It's sad that they fought screaming for their parents…and YOU."

Walking closer to the fountain she finally manages to see it; the bodies of the Zero kids: Shinji, Kira, Kato, the twins…all the kids were piled in a corner. Shaking with anger she opened her eyes wide when she sees Tomoyo's head floating and Mika without her eyes. But what made her fall in her knees was then she saw Saito stabbed by a spear.

"Konoha…did this?"

"Yes, we weren't needed at all for humanity's atrocities and you know that. This is not new to you Hinata. " with that the demon makes her stand and forces her to walk further into the halls, looking back she looks once again at the scene and it's still here. It hadn't changed.

"Do you feel good that they died swearing their loyalty to you? The ANBU that you lead asked for your whereabouts and they declined. You know how strong Team Zero was; but they said that they'll kill their wives if they didn't surrender…too bad that they were killed without knowing." Explained the demon like it was telling the weather. He noticed how her anger increased with every word and he loved it.

"Oh but Sasuke…"

With that Hinata stopped in her tracks. It's true, she saw that Sasuke was about to be attacked before she lost consciousness. He must be fighting on his own right now! "Take me with him."

Looking at her with pity the demon said "Are you sure?"

"I don't know what you gain by taking me here, but I'll cause a lot of trouble if you don't take me to Sasuke now." She said with her hand over her katana, but what made her stomach flutter with worry was the fact that the being in front of her was looking at her like she was crazy.

She can't be here arguing with someone that seems to be on their side.

"Take me to Uchiha Sasuke, NOW. He is fighting up there and I'll fight beside him."

With that the demon 'exhaled' loud and opened the double doors that Hinata didn't realized was in front of them. And as soon as she entered the room and looked at the end of it, she fell on her knees.

On top of a table was Uchiha Sasuke's head.

Hinata made a hand seal and started to say "kai" five or six times, she doesn't remember now how many. This has to be a genjutsu! It's not possible that Uchiha Sasuke's head was in front of her!

Not believing her eyes she snapped towards the demon angrily, "what kind of fucking joke is this!?" she said while tears started to leave her eyes. It must be an illusion, Sasuke can't be dead! "We managed to get at least the head." Says the demon like it was a fact to be recognized. "Those humans surely feared him, they took their eyes first. He agonized while promising to kill them all if they dare to touch you."

Hinata: "No…he is as strong as me. He wouldn't have been defeated!"

"They told him that you died."

"What…?"

"The boy was really crazy for you…he wanted to have the same fate."

"No…"

"I believe that someone called Danzo or something asked for the eyes. It seems that they were highly priced." The more the demon spoke the angrier Hinata felt. Sasuke was dead…in front of her. His eyes were taken out and still…he looked serene. "You may say that I'm a despicable being, but we've been seeing human cruelty over centuries and things like this happen every day. You've seen humanity's cruelty too, my dear Hinata." He keeps talking while getting closer to Hinata. She started to tremble; her emotions are so free that she can't control her sorrow.

"But," says the demon while kneeling beside her, smelling her dark hair and whispering to her ear, "You can always get revenge." He smirked when he noticed that she didn't say a word. "You can make humanity pay Hinata. You only asked to be rewarded with happiness and what the people that you protected from us did, they betrayed you."

With that Hinata looks up once again, Sasuke's head staring at her. Gritting her teeth, she tries to hold back.

"Don't you want…to make them pay?"

Hinata: [shaking] "Sasuke…Sasuke…"

The once handsome demon started to grow long horns over his head, and smirked while he caressed her face "Once you get your revenge, the world will be yours to create it how you wish, my beautiful Moon."

With that, she snapped.

Hinata: "NOOOOO-!"

"Tell me where is Hinata Assaroth!" Screams Sasuke, his red eyes spinning out of control making the situation more dangerous than it already was. Assaroth wasn't helping at all and even Toya was tense by the request. He didn't care how "powerful" the demon was. He took Hinata on her moment of weakness and he left her alone. He wont forgive himself EVER if she doesn't come back.

"If you don't calm down it will be worse! We need you with a cold head Uchiha!" Screams back the demon. He wasn't happy to know that after all, Mammon succeeded to take Hinata.

"That bastard took the opportunity that she wasn't on her full focus. Damn he did it when we didn't expect it." says the demon slayer, getting the reaction from the last Uchiha.

Sasuke: "You knew that this might happen!?"

"Not exactly, but our guess was that their leader may come personally to take her. But we never knew that the turn of events and the attack of the Akatsuki might become what he needed-"

"What does he want from her," demands Yuki, after his confrontation with a Rajal he was worried of what might happen next. The demon's obsession to take her since she was a kid was never something to overlook like nothing. "I mean they have been after her for more than 10 years. There must be a reason." With that Sasuke realizes what the blonde ANBU meant; she has awoken her A-1 class abilities at a young age and made it until now without losing her mind. Maybe was that?

"Just hope that she'll keep herself steady, focused and alive by the time we made it to save her. Because this time this is beyond what we have seen before. Mammon represents greed and he won't stop until he gets what he wants."

Sasuke: "And what he wants?"

Assaroth: "The world that Lord Lucifer failed to conquer."

"And where my wife comes into his plans!?" Screams angrily the dark haired ANBU. "I've stopped the Kyuubi without kililing Naruto and saving what was left of the village. It will be for nothing if she's killed because of what I did."

"Ku ku ku..."

Because nothing helps more than the laugh from a demon witnessing the upcoming disaster. "Mammon committed the same mistake again."

Yuki: "Mistake?"

"Hinata is...an interesting human after all-" but the demon couldn't continue his thoughts. The ground underneath them started to shake. Pein, who was fighting against Saito had to stop. This wasn't part of his jutsu; the whole world seemed to shake. And then everyone heard it.

"SASUKEEEEEEEE!"

The Uchiha started to look around desperately, he heard Hinata, but he can't see her! He never heard her scream so desperate, so pained. He feared the worst.

In the distance they saw a ball of fire coming from the ground, levitating to the dark sky. With that the demons stopped fighting and when to the highest places to see it better, like they were waiting for the show to begin. It took to the rest less than 5 seconds to sense the chakra coming from it.

Is that Hinata?!

"Ku ku ku! Yes Hinata make them pay!" screams a voice not so far from Sasuke and the others but one look told the last Uchiha that he is indeed Mammon. With human looks but his black wings half done, Mammon can walk through the earth without problem almost like Assaroth.

Turning to see Sasuke meters behind him, the actual demon Lord smirks. "Just because you are the Reincarnation of Lucifer doesn't mean that I lost. Once the final phase is done, there will be no one who will stop us to take over."

"So that means," says the raven haired ninja while he tales out his katana, "I'm the only one who can defeat you." With that the demon's smirk became wider. "Oh on the contrary," says calmly while he points at the fireball in the sky. "The moment Hinata chooses our side it won't matter who you are."

Without thinking twice Sasuke flies towards the fire sphere. What are they planning?!not noticing the large dark wings on his back and that the demons prepared to attack him.

They won't allow him to stop the final step!

Turning around, Saito noticed that Pein was gone, so was the rest of the chakra signatures of the Akatsuki. So it seems that they decided to either retreat or wait for the development of events.

That only led the retired samurai and the rest of Team Zero to prepare for what may be their last battle.

She was on her knees, and the tears hadn't stopped to flow.

Yes she was powerful, yes she was skilled. But it won't matter if she can't protect that she cares about. Hinata realized that the stronger she got, the bigger the dangers for everyone around her. Even if those images on the underworld were part of a illusion, it didn't hide the true.

Right now she can't feel Sasuke's chakra so it must be real; he's dead. Unknown for her Mammon managed to create a seal that won't allow her to feel either Sasuke or any of Team Zero's members. He needs her anger and sorrow to release the underworld once and for all.

They were killed for being around me,I'm the cause of their sorrow. Thinks the dark haired ninja, as she recalls the ones she lost who also kept her secret and saw her beyond her called A-1 curse.

Itachi...Sarutobi...Brandon...

And just the though of her teammates, their wives, their kids...

Sasuke

Her mind froze...Madara! Is she alive!? Is she okay?! Just the though of her daughter made her shake even harder. If the village did something to her...

"What I'm thinking, its my fault!" screams Hinata completely frustrated, of course it was! Sasuke was going to be fine if she hadn't returned! Saito would have become a great ANBU Captain and everyone else would be alive and safe!

It's because of her that Itachi came back to life again and the Akatsuki attacked Konoha! And she witnessed her master's death again, not able to ever return what he wanted.

What kind of monster she was?! Why Sasuke had to be so persistent that this was right?! She was part of his long life of suffering and trauma! She shouldn't...if she hadn't...!

"What do you wish?"

Looking up the dark haired ninja couldn't believe her eyes. In front of her was...a DRAGON?!

"Oh, so she's getting the final element? PERFECT! KU KU KU!" Laughs hysterically Mammon while avoids one of Sasuke's hits with his katana; they have been fighting like crazy, mostly from the Uchiha because he is trying to reach his wife but the demon and his followers are doing everything they could to prevent it.

Looking at the same direction, Sasuke is fascinated. A HUGE dragon came flying from the darkened sky and it's flying in front of the fireball.

"What do you wish?"

"Is that thing talking to Hinata?" asks Toya while kills another incubus, they were his kind but he doesn't care. "Assaroth! I never heard someone capable to get the dragon's attention! Why from all times he decides to test her to have the FIRE ELEMENT NOW?!"

Assaroth: "That fucking dragon likes to play with the fate of humans! He's worst than a demon!"

"And how come we never knew that piece of information Assaroth!" screams Yuki while getting rid of the demons surrounding him. An angry Kinomoto is pretty disturbing to see.

"Because like your clan we never heard of anyone HAVING ACOMPLISHED THE FIVE ELEMENTS!" screams both demons as the dragon talked again.

Hinata was looking at the dragon with wide eyes. "Something that I wish?"

"You've accomplished what other humans have tried. I see you worthy to have the fire element." With that she looks down, clenching her fists, "That's why I came. To give you-"

Hinata: "No..."

"What?"

Hinata: "I don't want the fire element."

"Are you nuts? Or are you trying to act like a humble human?" jokes the dragon, he knew that she was "interesting" just like Ryuichi the lighting God told him not long ago. But this, he never expected such answer.

"What's the use of more power when its useless!"

"Insolent brat!" roars the dragon, this is why he never gave the opportunity to humans! They'll never appreciate owning the five elements! They all think that its everything for granted...wait! "Human, you have accomplished four of the five elements, how dare you to call having them useless!"

"I don't want them," murmurs the dark haired kunoichi, "if that means the suffering of the ones I care the most, I don't want them." with that she stands up and looks at the dragon defiant "If having the power of the elements means making Sasuke suffer I don't want them!"

Then the dragon saw it in her eyes, she was crying. But it wasn't for her, it was for Uchiha Sasuke. He knew about the last Uchiha, his story and how strong his bond is to Hinata, making him step away from a destiny as tragic as his elder brother Itachi.

"Is that what you wish?"

with that her eyes opened wide, what in the world...?

"Do you wish to make Uchiha Sasuke...happy?" with that looks at her hands, that wish made her feel so happy that she stopped crying. The memory of his head in that table was too horrible. Yes she had witnessed worse things in her life as a shinobi but one thing was for sure, she didn't want that for Sasuke.

With a look full of determination that was only seen on the battlefield, she faces the dragon. "Yes, I want to make Uchiha Sasuke happy!"

Dragon: "Even if that means that you may never exist?"

Just the though of never see him again, made her eyes water but her smile went wider. "I made him suffer enough. I know that he came a long way for us be together, but I can't be the reason for him to be blinded any more. He deserves every moment of happiness that I took from him."

looking at her for a moment, the dragon closes his eyes. When he was told that he'll find a human capable to be destined of absolute power, he never knew that he will also make her suffer to see it as her fate. "Very well. This is what you have to do..."

after the few words said by the dragon, Hinata started to make hand seals.

Hinata: "Be happy, Sasuke!"

On the distance, the only thing that everyone heard was the dragon's last words. "Do it and your wish will be fulfilled." then Mammon started to fly towards the fire ball. "Yes! Come on, destroy humanity and set us free! KU KU KU!"

Sasuke flies close by, he has to stop her! "Hinata wait-!"

Hinata: (whispering) "Alumina..."

The last thing he remembered was a huge ball of light that reached even the darkened sky. And the demon Lord Mammon screaming. "What the fuck happened?! What the fuck you did Hinata?! I swear that I'll come back for you-!"

When he opened his eyes, all that Uchiha Sasuke could see was white feathers. Sitting up with the help of Byako he managed to see clearly his surroundings and the first thing that he noticed was the lack of the dark chakra of the demons; it seemed that Hinata used the Alumina to destroy them all.

The second thing that he noticed was that ALL the buildings in the village have been restored, like nothing happened. The ones destroyed due to the battles or the explosions by Deidara looked brand new. He never knew that the Alumina jutsu can also reverse damages. Then he saw Saito, Yuki and Hiro getting closer to him; equally shocked since that flash of light was too strong. But when he saw that the feathers kept falling he looks up.

What he saw was something he'll never forget.

The fire ball slowly disappear just to show a figure with a strong white light around it. And as bright as he saw it, it rapidly dimmed only to see Hinata's body fall from the sky. Using the remaining of his strength he manages to catch her up, and with that the rest of the rookie nine rush beside him.

"Hinata, can you hear me? Hinata..." whispers the last Uchiha when he noticed that she was unconscious, and just how pale she looked he started to fear the worst. No one dared to say a word, how can you say something in a moment like this?

Saito and the rest make it to the scene, the old samurai knelt beside Sasuke. "You are going to take the Captain position as long as you wake up, got it?" starts to say the samurai, afraid to touch her pulse, her chakra signature was almost gone, but he won't face it. "Its hard to be in charge of those assholes without killing them. Come on Hinata...don't leave us now!"

"Why you act like she's dead?"

In that moment everyone looks up to see the dragon standing few feet from them. Sasuke held Hinata tighter to his body and activated his Sharingan. "It's your fault-!"

"Lower you voice human-"

"What you made her do?! Why everyone seems to want something from us?!" screams back the Uchiha, surprising everyone around him. "I just wanted to form a family with her and grow old together! Was that too much to ask?!"

"..."

"Always a test, always something!" keeps rambling Sasuke while Tsunade is getting closer to them, "If it wasn't the demons trying to make us fall into sins it was the Element beings giving us tests! Have you ever asked if we wanted all this in our shoulders at all?! Just let us be happy damn it-!"

"Are you done, Uchiha Sasuke?" asks the dragon with a raised eyebrow.

"Sasuke!" screams Tsunade who's checking for Hinata's vitals on his arms. "She's in coma. We have to take her to the hospital!" looking down at her and then at the dragon, Sasuke was speechless.

"Oh so that's what you call it." says the dragon impressed. "Right now she's not in her body but fighitng a new battle..."

"Fighting?"

"She did it in order to make you happy, Uchiha Sasuke." explains the dragon while he saw Sasuke's body tremble with the news. "She thinks that you won't be happy with her in this world. She has to see the truth by herself."

"What the fuck you mean, DRACO?!" screams Yuki, understanding everything on the spot. The damn DRACO was like the legend, ruthless and without a heart! "Where is she?!"

Draco: "In the purgatory."

Yuki: "You-!"

"She'll make it" says suddenly Sasuke with a smirk on his face. Then he stood up with Hinata in his arms and follows Tsunade to the hospital. "One thing that I know about her is that she never gives up. And she won't give up on me...no matter how many times she tried in the past." and with that air of confidence and trust he kept walking.

Behind him started to follow team zero, with Saito looking with pride Sasuke's back. He has matured more than he can imagine, Uchiha Sasuke won't let Hinata go anymore.

A/N: The reason of why this story wasn't finished when all the chapters are like 80% is because I have to give an enclosure to each of the characters. It will be unfair to leave anyone hanging. Thanks to those who kept waiting and the new ones.
