Note(s): I told you I'd write more for dear Saïx. ;D Here's another double drabble; I guess you could call it a companion drabble for "Berserk".

It was inspired by a roleplay with Shikyou Daemon. The first phrase in this drabble truthfully belongs to her. It's what put the idea in my mind, though, so I used it. Total credit for the idea goes to her, though. You rock, Shikyou!

Control

As Kingdom Hearts grows, Saïx's control shrinks.

And the moon's created a monster.

It's a demon, festering within him, its voice ever-present in his mind. It snarls, rages, takes over him under the glow of the moon he loves so much. And when he regains control over his body, their body, it leaves him weak and exhausted.

But Xemnas is there to care for him.

He finds it amusing how the Superior shows so much interest in him, tending to him while he's preoccupied with fighting mental battles against the demon within.

The demon wants freedom. Saïx won't give in, though he knows that he'll have to eventually. If he doesn't, the demon will take over and do away with him forever.

He knows that the demon will wait until Kingdom Hearts is complete, when it'll be so easy to break free of its restraints and do as it pleases. It won't be long before he's a vicious animal, a ferocious pet for Xemnas that'll have to be locked away and hidden.

Saïx is losing his sanity, and he's not sure if Xemnas will be able to save him.

And it's all because of the moon he loves so much.
