I might write something else about this in the future. :D I love Saïx. One of the best characters ever.

Berserk

Xemnas doesn't like it when Saïx enters his Berserk mode.

He doesn't like the way red streaks appear in those yellow eyes.

He doesn't like the way Saïx's teeth elongate into deadly fangs.

He doesn't like the way claws tear out of the man's gloves, shredding the fabric effortlessly.

He won't admit that it scares him when Saïx loses control and gives in to his rage. He won't admit that he's terrified of the moon and what it does to Saïx.

He hates seeing Saïx become nothing but a rabid animal intent on destroying anything and everything it can. He hates not being able to do anything to help Saïx when he finally reverts to his normal form, when he's weak and exhausted.

"The moon is a double-edged sword. It grants power, but it demands payment in return."

And Xemnas isn't surprised when the moon leads to Saïx's downfall, the constant transformations draining his strength during the battle against their enemy. The Keyblade takes the man easily, and there's nothing Xemnas can do but watch from the shadows, cursing the moon for what it does to his not-lover.

Xemnas fights the Keyblade Master half-heartedly.

He doesn't want the moon anymore.
