It had been a bloody battle, with several hundred casualties on either side. Rebel faction versus rebel faction, with their limited weapons, would only last so long. The superweapon was going to take them out.

And there was nothing they could do to stop it.

Every time control slipped into the other side's hands, his soliders would stay rooted to the spot, their training unfailing, and it would be a massacre. It was a miracle, their lasting, what with the enemy's perfect aim.

His eyes scanned the battelfield, now cleared of bodies from the last push forward.

A good number of his soldiers were holed up behind barricades, leaving only a sparse scattering over the main area. The tanks were still in good condition and the jeeps could last a bit longer.

He considered the enemy, then. More barriers no doubt held a fair number of available troops, but the field was even more sparse, and the tanks had long been taken out. He could win, if he did this right.

Careful aim... and he lobbed the superweapon. It seemed to hang forever over the enemy lines, before finally dropping and taking out a large shelter. The roof fell in, and the soldiers there were buried beneath the rubble.

"HA!" Ed crowed. "Take that, Mustang!"

Roy dejectedly moved the pile of bodies and rubble off the field and picked up the superweapon. "That was an impenetrable fort!"

"Naw. It was shoddy craftsmanship! The roof was resting funny, and it got knocked off kilter by that other one I threw."

Roy snorted, taking aim. His attack was launched, and the troops behind Ed's flanking barricade fell.

"Dammit! Those were my reserves!"

"All's fair in love and war, Fullmetal."

"So what's this?" Ed asked snarkily, launching the weapon again. It bounced, hitting three soliders, tipping over the Fuhrer and finally coming to rest after toppling the Roy standing near his flag.

"Yes!" the blonde crowed again. "I killed the Fuhrer and you! I win!"

Roy wrinkled his nose and sighed. "Fine. You win."

Ed giggled maniacally, gathering up all of his paperclip soliders, and half of Roy's. He tossed the tin foil superweapon in the air and caught it a few times, then bounced it off of Roy's head and grinned.

"Better get started on making your army. At this rate, I'll take over the entire office floor."
