NOTES:
Hello, all! I wrote this poem ages ago and was going to use it on a piece of fanart. But 'twas not to be, and so the poem has been festering on my hard drive. I figured I should either post it or delete it; hopefully this is the right choice!

WARNING!I am NOT A POET. Keep that in mind. LOL!

Was a mother named her daughter
for a torrid flow of water;
For the deadly force of nature she'd become.
Reared her bright and reared her proper:
Now the 'verse itself can't stop her.
Sold her child down to slaughter
when the mother named her daughter.

Had a brother loved her madly,
And a father used her badly;
Should have named the girl Ophelia, truth be told.
For the only love she had
Turned the poor dear creature mad,
And she's been behaving badly;
Hear she's running up a tally.

"With a sprig of rue repent ye,
And sweet violets present me.
Let me know how much you missed me, far away.
Now I'm broken, you can see:
Humpty Dumpty's bride-to-be.
Was the river drowned Ophelia.
Now Ophelia's drowning me."
