AN: I know I haven't updated Just a Phase in a like a millennia, but I have just not been into writing much lately, which seriously is freaking me out. Plus, I have no time, but I'm sure you guys can be empathetic. It's not like you guys noticed anyways…

Hope you enjoy this one. I just pounded it out, and while I'm not much of a poet, I thought I would get over my fear, and share this. Hopefully you guys won't think it sucks too much. But let me know what you think!

From Beginning to End

My body is

A pool of desire

When you touch me:

Lips, fingers, skin.

I know all of you:

Eyes, lips—body and soul.

Desperately, I cling to you

If I need to be home.

"Querida," you whisper

while we lie still in bed.

Fingers brush against my skin

And I slip into your eyes.

Awakening to sunlight

Dusting the lips I always yearn for.

Your eyes open and lock with mine;

I fall in love all over again.

I ask you the unspoken question

And you answer by kissing me.

Bodies move with one another;

We fall onto the bed.

"I love you, mi querida," you say to me

While I am molded to your side.

A heart-warming smile appears on my lips

And I kiss you senseless.

Time passes as our love grows;

It blossoms into something found only in dreams.

Every kiss, each caress

Adds to the constant inferno.

We grow old together.

Ghosts come and go,

But you stay—

Just like you promised.

I love you with all my heart

Never guessing the emotion I feel.

You hold me after each time,

As if it were the first.

Comfort sets in,

But the fire never dies.

We live for each other,

For our time together.

Then old age finally sets in,

But death doesn't scare me—

As it once did.

You whisper assurances into my ear.

We cling to one another.

Time is coming to an end…

We both feel it; our eyes lock.

Then they close.
