Arthur transfigured the table into a comfortable bed, Sirius managed to force a calming draught down Molly's throat and she now sat in a rocking chair nursing a cup of tea, her red rimmed eyes staring at nothing.

"How is he Arthur" Sirius asked.

"He'll be okay, it's just a matter of time, luckily Veela are fast healers." Arthur smiled sadly.

Draco was still on the couch holding Harry when the green winged submissive gave a huge gasp and sat up.

"RON!" Harry screamed, his eyes darting around the room in search of his mate.

"Shh Shh my love, he'll be okay, it was just a few goblin arrows, he'll be well soon enough" cooed Draco."

"But what if he had died Mum!" I couldn't live with myself, it's my entire fault, I put everyone in danger, it's good that I dont have a child, I would only get it killed!"

"HARRY!" Draco, Arthur and Sirius all cried at once!"

Arthur hurried from his sons side and knelt before harry, looking into his tearful green eyes. "You listen to me Harry! If I know anything about my son I know that he loves you more than anything and that he is proud to have you as a mate. Don't let Ron hear you talking so badly of yourself, you'll break his heart."

Harry took in a shaky breath "Sorry Mr Weasley."

"Call me Arthur son, there's a lad!" Arthur patted Harry on the back before pulling him into a hug. Harry gazed over Arthur's large wing to see Molly sobbing into her teacup.

"They're all Veela, I carried them, I carried them and I didn't know, but they're evil aren't they?" Molly mumbled to herself.

"Will Molly be okay?" Harry asked, withdrawing from the older dominant's embrace.

Arthur sighed, pulling back and standing to look at his wife. "I don't honestly know Harry, only time will tell. It's a lot for her to take in I think."

"Come on, I'll put the Kettle on!" Draco announced "Siri, will you cast reparo on the roof, I think it might rain."

"Will Do!" Sirius, jumped up pulling his wand from his sleeve.

Harry stared at Molly, before walking over and sitting in the armchair next to hers. "Molly?"

The red haired woman flinched violently, and looked at him sadly. "Not you too Harry! I can't cope, it's just so wrong, you're not evil, but you are Veela I don't…. I can't.

Harry grabbed Molly's shaking hands "Mrs Weasley look at me, it's Harry, and over there lying on that bed is your son Ron and he's injured.

"Ron's hurt! Oh my baby!" Her eyes darted to the bed, but in seeing Ron's wing shift in his sleep she turned away quickly. "That can't be Ron, Ronald is not a Veela, you are not a Veela, Arthur…he's..he's not…" Molly dissolved into a fresh fit of sobbing.

"Molly please, none of us chose to be this way, we aren't bad, the Veela who murdered your brothers, they were bad. Would you tarnish all wizards with the same brush if you saw a death eater attack? You know better than that Molly judge us for who we are, not what we are!" Harry pleaded.

Molly looked around the room, everyone was busy, Draco, making cups of tea, Sirius was repairing the roof and Arthur was adding more salve to Ron's injured wing.

"Oh Harry, I'm so sorry….but what can I do, I know nothing about Veela!" Molly sobbed.

"But you know me, and you know your husband and your children, and they are all still the same, just with a few added extras" Harry shook his wings out and smiled. To his shock this elicited a giggle from the Weasley matriarch.

"You are right as always Harry dear…yes" She stood up then, brushing her hands on her apron before slowly making her way to Ron's side. She leant over him and began to stroke his face.

"Don't worry Ron, I'm here for you" She smiled, leaning in to kiss his scrunched brow.

"Mu….mum…sorry…I'm…so..sorry" Ron Gasped.

"Hush now; we'll have none of that!" Molly looked up at Arthur who gave her a tight smile and a nod.

"Arthur? May I?" She gestured to the bottle of salve.

"Oh….of course yes!" Arthur handed the salve over giving her a brief explanation of how to rub it in without damaging Ron's secondary feathers.

"Molly…I'm sorry I should have said something I just loved you from the moment I saw you and…"

"Shut up Arthur, I might never get used to all this, I might never forgive you, but let's concentrate on healing our son eh?" Molly looked down at Ron's golden wings and gently ran her hand over the feathers. "Our half-Veela son."

Molly gave Arthur a smile and slid her hand into his, giving it a squeeze, Arthur squeezed it back.

Sitting in the armchair watching the events unfold Harry smiled, at least Molly was a reasonable person and at that moment Harry was proud to have her as a mother-in-law.

"Are you alright love?" asked Draco handing Harry a cup of tea.

"Yeah I will be, did you manage to work out the Latin in Lucius' letter?" Harry asked, blowing across the top of his steaming cup.

"Yes just before we left, I was going to tell you when we arrived, but obviously with certain circumstances occurring, I never got the chance." Draco sat himself in Molly's empty chair and brought his own tea to his lips, taking a large drink.

"Mmmm lovely. Here" Draco passed Harry a small strip of parchment. It read simply 'I love you son, for blood and for family'

"What does that mean exactly?" Harry folded the paper in his palm.

"It's a good sign Harry, my father is saying that family is more important than anything, he's a Veela Harry! In our society you would die before letting you children or grandchildren come to harm! In other words, as you are now his only grandson, he has no intention of handing you over to that snake faced git!" Draco smiled.

"So he wouldn't betray us? But why the nasty letter?"

"He has to keep up appearances my son; he obviously has a plan in mind." Draco winked.

"Harry?..Where's Harry!" Ron cried out.

Harry's head turned so fast towards the transfigured bed he felt his neck burn, he ran to Ron's side, all thoughts of Voldemort forgotten.

"How are you feeling?" The submissive asked, kissing his dominant chastely on the lips.

"Like I've been pierced through with goblin arrows, hey at least if I hadn't survived you could have pinned me in a frame like some lepidopterists wet dream! Ron snorted.

"Eww less of the gallows humour Ron, and surely it would be Ornithologist?" Harry giggled.

"I think you'll find it would be crypto zoologist!" Sirius said as he guided the last roof slate back into place.

"A what?" asked Ron?

Arthur laughed heartily and even Molly managed a titter. "A crypto zoologist studies mythical creatures."

"Ah see that's where the flaw lies, last time I checked, I wasn't mythical!" Ron smiled.

"You are a big idiot do you know that? "Harry leaned in to kiss Ron again.

"And that's why you love me!" Ron reached out his hand to stroke Harry's face.

Harry stood suddenly and seemed to falter on his feet grabbing his abdomen. "Oh I don't feel very well!" And with barely a sound Harry potter vanished from the burrow.
