Poems of Characters

Summary: Some poems about Shakespeare's characters from different works he wrote.

AN: I had to write poems for a book for my English book report and now I can't stop making poems! And since I like Shakespeare's work so much and I'm reading it a lot these days, it are his characters who have to suffer XD I know my attempt at rhyming sucks and my poetic-being is not great but I just enjoy doing it, and that's what counts, not?
The first one I wrote is about a Shakespeare character I love the most because he is just awesome.I wrote this while we were supposed to be reading the bible, I'm so going to hell for this. I'm a sinner! XD
I hope you'll like it!

Mercutio – Romeo and Juliet

A friend so true, like the sun in the sky
Stands up for honor and pride
A story of faeries is easily told
But quicker to pick up a fight

His name which explains all things
A word that tells a story
That one can read but not understand
Stands there proud in all his glory

"Forget about love!" His words are cold
Yet his reason is not to harm
For his words are those of love for a friend
As his meanings are good and warm

Until royal blood spills on the ground
Done by a Capulet's scratch
A cat that runs away in fear
Cause what's the meaning of 'proud'?

Screaming of hate and crying of pain
As death comes near to take
A life desired, one that was loved
Will not be let down in vain
