Sesshomaru stood darkly over the broken body of Inuyasha. He smiled wickedly. "At long last I'll be rid of you forever." He raised his sword high, Inuyasha cowered in fear. He let out a merciless laugh and swung his sword down with all his might. Inuyasha cursed his brother and closed his eyes resigning himself to death. But the blow never came. He opened one eye and saw the sword hovering over his head. Sesshomaru was frozen with a look of terror on his face.
Inuyasha looked over his shoulder at a beautiful woman with glorious angelic wings and a soft warm face... She was holding a rolling pin.
"M... Mother?" Sesshomaru stammered. Her face went dark. She strode over to him and pinched his ear roughly. He yelped. She glared at him. Sesshomaru recoiled. And forced a wide toothed smile. "Mommy!" She relaxed a bit then pointed the rolling pin at him.
"You stop tormenting your brother right now young man!" She said crossly.
"But... mother!" he whimpered.
"No buts about it!" She released his ear and put her hands on her hips. "And where have you been?"
"I... I... " He gaped at her.
"Just as I thought! Getting
yourself into trouble!"
"No mother!" He cried out.
"Oh? Then what?" She demanded. "You couldn't find the time in over three hundred years to visit me? And you see me again for the first time in years and all you can say is 'mother'?"
"But I..."
The woman glared at him."You march right back home this instant and visit with your poor, tired mother!"
"Yes Ma'am!" Sesshomaru yelped. She pinched his ear and dragged him away.
Inuyasha blinked "Well that was weird..." He laughed long and hard watching his brother go.
