Changes

Disclaimer: I own nothing.
AN: Just a short little oneshot, as it'll be awhile before I have any new chapters for either of my stories up. There will NOT be no continuation, unlike my last oneshot, lol. I would call this a Trory as that's all I write, however truthfully, it can be Rory with whoever your favorite guy is as there are no names mentioned...
Also, just to let people know, I now have a blog that you can find in my profile, which will keep you updated when new chapters are coming, or give sneak peeks into them and into new stories. Hope you enjoy this, and make sure to review!

He walked down the crowded New Haven sidewalk. It was Spring time in the city, the snow had finally melt away. Everyone was bustling about doing their own business, their chatter carrying on. Everyone excited for the warmth that they thought would never come, but had finally arrived. Unlike them, he had never felt the coldness of the snow though, just the loneliness.
But now as the Spring sun beat down on his face, that emptiness was still there. He kept walking, not paying attention to where he was going. He was trying to ignore the hollowness inside of him, hoping that it would eventually go away. Yet it would not...
He came to a stop finally becoming aware of where he was. Was it a cruel joke that his feet would lead him here unconsciously?
It was her apartment complex.
They had both been running from the pain, but what he would give to see her face again. It had been so long. They could sit in her living room catching up on each other's lives. They would talk about anything and everything. She would pretend that she forgave him, and he would pretend that nothing ever happened between them. That he never let her down. Never made her cry. He had paid the price, he still was.
They would both act happy.
But he would not go up there, he could not. A lot had changed since back then.
He did not know her anymore. Everything had changed, even her name.
He moved along, trying to get as far away from the apartment as fast as he could. Before turning the corner, he took one last look back. There she was, standing in front of her apartment building, staring right at him.
He saw her face.
She had not changed...
