At First Sight

A/N- Hey all, welcome back. This is the chapter a lot of you probably have been waiting for; it's time to make everything official. And I'm not meaning just for our favorite couple either, wink!

Anyway, I do hope you all enjoy this chapter and for those of you who wanted a lemon, there is one. I've marked it for those who do not wish to read one. I do this only to please all parties.

Chapter 11:

Moment of Truth

The walk to the car had been rather interesting, considering that every time someone would so much as look at the unconscious InuYasha let alone touch him, they would be glared into the ground or hissed at by Jax.

Personally, Kagome found it rather sweet that Jax had already become so attached to InuYasha. But she knew it was starting to annoy Sesshoumaru and considering what she had already put him through today, she knew that the poor guy deserved a reprieve.

So once they had gotten home and everything had been put away, Kagome turned to where Jax had laid InuYasha down on the sofa and prepared herself for what she was about to propose.

Walking up to where she was standing just behind him, Kagome cleared her throat and spoke gently. "Jax, do you have somewhere you are currently staying?" Jax turned to look at her in surprise; he'd been so enthralled by just staring at the unconscious Hanyou that he hadn't noticed her until she'd spoken.

"Uh...um, yea...I do, why do you ask Kagome?" Hearing the nervousness in Jax's voice made Kagome all the more certain about what she was going to suggest to him. She knew that InuYasha would freak, at first. But something had to be done.

Smiling she crouched next to him on the floor, she knew that she had to make this quick. Sesshoumaru would be back any second and he would be rather grumpy if he saw her sitting this close to another male. "Well, I have a proposition for you Jax. Sesshoumaru and I need to be alone tonight; my mother is taking my brother and grandfather elsewhere. That leaves InuYasha. Would you be willing to take him to your home and keep him there until the morning?"

She watched as Jax's eyes lit up at her question. He tilted his head as he gave her a measuring look, "are you sure I should do that? I mean, he probably won't be very...welcoming."

Kagome chuckled as she patted his back, "Oh I know he won't be, but I think you can win him over. It shouldn't take too much trouble to do so...especially if you use these on him." Reaching into her pocket, Kagome pulled out a fistful of Ofuda's that Miroku had given to her.

Jax shivered as he reached out to touch them, "Uh...what are these?" Kagome opened his hand and placed them into his palm. He jerked at the jolt of power rushing up his arm and looked at Kagome with wide eyes, "what just happened?!"

"They are blessed holy sutra's, meant to seal youki. They shouldn't harm you, unless you have evil intent. But if you place them on InuYasha, just say what I've written here and it will immobilize him. For a short time, unless you remove them yourself." Kagome placed a normal slip of paper into Jax's other hand.

He looked down at his hands as if in a daze before looking back up at Kagome with a confused look in his eyes. "Are you sure Kagome?" Nodding her head, Kagome gripped his shoulder gently. "Please Jax, I need you to help me do this. I know it's a lot to ask, considering we just met, but you've seen Sesshoumaru. This must happen before anything else goes on."

Jax nodded his head at that point, "I take it that you two will become 'official' tonight then?" Kagome felt her face burn with a blush, but nodded her head anyway. "Yes, it is about time that it happened. Besides, we cannot stay here much longer. The other's will be needing us back and hopefully nothing bad has happened to any of them while we've wasted time here."

Kagome was worried at the thought of her friends on the other side of the well, she knew that they could take care of themselves but she was still worried about what Naraku might try to pull. Shaking her head to rid herself of such thoughts, Kagome patted Jax on the back before getting up and stepping away from him.

"Kagome! Dear, would you come to the kitchen please?" Her mother's voice echoed down the hall from the kitchen and Kagome flashed Jax a smile before she turned and headed towards the kitchen, "coming mother!"

Jax turned to look down at InuYasha when he felt another presence behind him, at first he thought it was Kagome, but as he turned he saw that it was Sesshoumaru. Still dressed head to toe like a gothic stud muffin.

Inclining his head Jax spoke softly, respectfully, "Sesshoumaru." Sesshoumaru moved closer and bending down onto one knee he looked Jax right in the eye. "This Sesshoumaru does not care how you achieve it, but you will take my...brother...away for the day and keep him from returning. Is that understood?"

Blinking in shocked surprise, Jax nodded his head numbly. "Yes...?" Inclining his head once, Sesshoumaru stood again and turned to leave before saying quietly, "This Sesshoumaru is in your debt."

And then he was gone, presumably to find Kagome. Jax didn't notice though, not really. He was still too stunned to think let alone care, 'first Kagome comes to me for help and now Sesshoumaru? Wow, they must really trust me. I must never forget that, yes. I think I can trust them as well.'

Smiling to himself, Jax stuffed the Ofuda's and instructions into one of his pockets before he gently lifted InuYasha up. It was time he made himself scarce, so as he made to exit the Higarashi home, he sent up a silent prayer for Kagome and Sesshoumaru. He wished them all the luck in the world.

Luck was just what Kagome needed at this moment in time, because frankly, she knew it would be only by pure luck that she would get out of the 'talk' that her mother was about to spring on her. She'd only had to take one look at her mother's face to know just what was up and in no way did she like it.

"Kagome...I know you don't want to hear this coming from me, especially now of all times. But it's about time that we talked about a small detail of what I know is going to occur here tonight. So before you gape at me like you're doing now, please just listen, alright?" Asami kept her voice soft but firm as she looked at her daughter, who was now all grown up.

Not wishing to dash her mother's feelings by stomping from the room, Kagome walked over to the table and sat down. She would do her best to just suffer through what she knew was probably coming.

Glad to see that her daughter was giving her a chance; Asami moved to sit next to her daughter at the table and reached out to take her hands in her own. And taking a deep breath she began.

"Kagome tonight is a special night for you and for Sesshoumaru. I know there is some demonic part to play in all this as well, but please do your best to hold up the human part of it. I know you probably know all about sex and how it works but there is one thing I am positive that you do not know."

Her brows furrowing in confusion, Kagome gave her mother a weird look. Her mom wasn't saying what she'd thought she would, it was unnerving to say the least.

Reaching out, Asami placed her hand over Kagome belly and smiled gently at her daughter. "I am speaking of the way to ensure that you get pregnant Kagome." Kagome blinked in shock, "uh...what?"

Sighing Asami leant back in her chair, "Kagome, I want grandchildren and until Souta is old enough, you are all I have. And believe me; I know that Sesshoumaru would leap for joy if you conceived the first time. All men are like that; it puffs their pride and makes you a more desirable woman in his eyes."

Tapping her nose Asami smiled again, "do you understand?" Kagome nodded numbly, trying her best not to gape at her mother. She'd never known her mother to speak of anything sex related in this intimate of detail. Heck, she'd thought her mom was going to give her the age old, 'birds and the bees' talk. This was coming completely out of left field.

Pleased by Kagome's response Asami sat up and scooted closer, "now then, listen to me carefully and don't forget to do this when the time comes. When he reaches his climax and ejaculates make sure to clench your lower stomach muscles as hard as you can, keep your legs clamped around him. Make sure that not one drop of his semen leaves you, after a couple minutes you can unclench and let go of him."

Kagome could swear her jaw was on the floor even as she filed away everything her mother had said. She couldn't deny the logic of her mother's argument, men were men after all. All of them liked to think of themselves as super studs in the sack, not to mention the boost to their ego it would be if one lay was all it took to get pregnant.

Lifting her hand, Asami gently touched Kagome's cheek. "If he wants to go again do not deny him Kagome, no matter how tired or sore you are. The more times he ejaculates the better, just make sure that you stay strong and everything will go fine. Do you understand Kagome?"

Nodding her head, Kagome touched her forehead to her mothers and smiled, "just promise me one thing mom." Asami tilted her head, "anything." Kagome narrowed her eyes at her mother, "don't pretend around me anymore. I want you to be more like this with me mom, because I like this you very much."

Chuckling, Asami nodded her head against Kagome's. "Alright, I promise I will be my true self with you Kagome. Your no longer a child anymore, you're a woman and I hope we can still be good friends as well as mother and daughter." Kagome laughed, "Always mother, always."

Reaching out, Kagome embraced her mother tightly and behind her she could feel Sesshoumaru's youki as he approached the kitchen. Pulling away from her mother, Kagome smiled happily at her mother, "I'll make sure we have a wedding here mom, just for you and I will make sure you meet all of my other friends."

Asami smiled happily even as she turned to look at Sesshoumaru as he stepped into the kitchen. Getting up she moved over to stand before him and to Kagome's great surprise, not to mention Sesshoumaru's, she embraced the Taiyoukai. "Look after my daughter Sesshoumaru."

Uncomfortable in more ways than one, Sesshoumaru returned the embrace woodenly and spoke with a very reverent tone. "I will protect her with my life...mother." Kagome could swear her jaw was on the floor and if the look on her mother's face said anything she was thinking the same thing.

After a moment Sesshoumaru backed away, putting some distance between himself and Asami. "The others are awaiting you Higarashi-san," Sesshoumaru's tone was neutral, but Kagome could swear she saw a slight pinkness to the Taiyoukai cheeks.

Shaking herself out of her stupor, Asami nodded her head and moved around the kitchen table to grab her purse off a nearby counter. When she reached the doorway she paused, turning she looked first at Sesshoumaru then at Kagome and smiled as she said, "make me proud." Then she was gone.

Kagome felt her face heat in utter embarrassment; she knew what her mother wanted from her. She knew it all too well. Idly rubbing her arm, she turned to look at Sesshoumaru before she stammered out. "Are you hungry? I can make us something to eat real quick if you'd like?"

Raising an eyebrow at that, Sesshoumaru practically floated around the kitchen island and came to a stop before her. Kagome licked her lips as she looked at him from head to toe, suddenly feeling rather nervous she smiled and turned around to start figuring a meal out. The feel of Sesshoumaru's tail as it coiled about her waist stilled any forward movement and she waited with baited breath to see what her Taiyoukai would do next.

Pulling the miko back against his chest, Sesshoumaru wrapped his arms about his chosen even as he nuzzled against the back of her head. "This Sesshoumaru is hungry...but not for food." Flushing at the clear sign of seduction in Sesshoumaru's voice, Kagome shivered in his embrace.

In one smooth move, Sesshoumaru lifted Kagome up and into his arms. He then proceeded to carry her out of the kitchen and up the stairs, moving with single minded purpose straight to her bedroom. Once inside, he pushed the door closed behind them with his tail and slowly but gently set Kagome down upon her feet.

Taking a deep breath, Kagome walked to the edge of her bed and stopped. Her thoughts were in a whirl and her heart wouldn't stop beating hard. She'd never been more nervous in her entire life but she wouldn't back down now, she'd made her choice and now it was time to follow through.

Reaching down she grabbed the edge of her shirt and began pulling it up, only to have a large pair of hands stop her. "Sesshoumaru?" Confused Kagome started to turn her head, only to have Sesshoumaru embrace her.

"As my lady you should never have to undress yourself, this Sesshoumaru shall do it for you." Kagome felt her whole body tingle at the feeling of having him breathing so close to her ear not to mention the heat she felt coming off his body. It made her feel so special to have him care for her like this.

He proceeded to swiftly strip her and before she knew it she was standing naked before his heated gaze. She shivered at the feel of his eyes on her, even though he'd already seen her naked once before this was different, this was special.

Her eyes widened as she watched Sesshoumaru divest himself of his own clothes, leaving him standing there in all his male glory. Her hands itched to touch that pale skin, her mouth grew dry at the thought of tasting said skin and Kagome felt like slapping herself at how perverted her thoughts had turned.

Scenting Kagome's spike of arousal and seeing the interest in her eyes as she looked him over, Sesshoumaru felt like puffing out his chest in male pride. He forced himself not to though, this was a special night for them both and he wanted to make sure things were done correctly. This was going to be forever after all, the merging of bodies and souls.

Stepping closer, Sesshoumaru gently lifted Kagome up into his arms and took her to her bed. Setting her down upon it just as gently, he bent his head and kissed the crown of her head as he spoke, "it is time."

Kagome reached up and wrapped her arms about his neck pulling him down with all the strength she could muster. Sesshoumaru was caught off guard and fell on top of her. Kagome laughed against his ear even as she started kissing his ear while she let her hands roam all over his back and shoulders.

Feeling a purring growl rumbling forth from his throat, Sesshoumaru nuzzled Kagome's neck, breathing deeply of her scent as he did so. His own hands were roaming as well and he ran one between their forms to cup one of Kagome's breasts and gave it a gentle squeeze. Hearing her gasp against his ear made his body tingle with want.

He wanted to be as gentle as he could this time, for after all it was her first. But with a youkai such as himself it would be a bit rougher than a normal human mating. He had several things he still would have to do to make their binding official but as he felt her desire mounting he knew it didn't matter anymore.

She was all his now.

Lifting his head he looked into her eyes even as he nuzzled their noses together, his voice was soft as he spoke. "Kagome let all your power flow forth. All of it, do you understand?"

Blinking at that Kagome opened her mouth to respond when she felt his youki spike. It seemed that he was releasing all of his power as well, so she took a deep breath and followed suit. Letting it all out caused the air to become charged as her miko power clashed with his youki power. She could even feel the room warming up as their powers fought and mixed.

Sesshoumaru felt his inner self growling at the way Kagome's power tried to overtake his own and knowing it was the only way to do this, Sesshoumaru allowed his youkai to release all of its power. It flared before encasing Kagome's holy power, making the miko submit to his own will.

It was a strange sensation as Kagome felt her powers being forced back into herself, only to have Sesshoumaru's settle about her almost like it was coating her in his youki. She lifted her head and kissed his ear as she whispered, "you win."

*Lemon Start*

That was where he snapped. Growling deeply he gripped Kagome's shoulder's roughly as he pressed her into the bed, bending his head he ravished her mouth even as he used his tail to nudge her legs apart. Once he had enough room he settled himself between her legs and rocked hard against her, grinding his pelvis against hers.

Kagome dug her nails into Sesshoumaru's back as she moaned against his mouth; her whole body was on fire. She felt such a flood of feelings that she couldn't stay still. Lifting her legs she tentatively wrapped them about Sesshoumaru's back, pulling him even closer to herself.

Growling again, Sesshoumaru left Kagome's mouth and went down her chin to her throat, nipping and kissing the whole way. One of his hands had traveled down south to grip her buttock; he gave it a good squeeze which had Kagome moaning once again.

He could feel her wetness and knew that she was amply ready; he just wanted to time their first true joining just right. Lifting his head he straightened his arms to loom over her as he let his eyes roam her form, committing every detail to memory. Kagome's cheeks were flushed and she was trembling slightly as she reached up to cup his cheek, a soft smile creased her lips and that was his breaking point.

With a growl he pounced, pressing his lips hard against hers even as he thrust his hips forward, swallowing her scream as he broke her virgin barrier and seated himself fully inside her. He knew he probably tore more than her maidenhead, especially considering her petite frame and his imposing girth. This was why he didn't move right away, he had to let her become accustomed to him.

He kept himself busy licking her face and kissing her softly. He could taste the salt from her sweat and tears with each pass of his tongue. She trembled against him even as she lifted a visibly shaking hand to once again cup his cheek. "I am ready..." her voice was soft and shaking against his lips.

Knowing she was still in pain he turned his head to kiss her palm his voice soft, "we must exchange something first." Kagome blinked, not really understanding what he meant by that but knew no matter what that there was no turning back now.

Using his fangs Sesshoumaru sliced his tongue and waited for his blood to fill his mouth, he mixed it with his saliva and infused the mix with his poison. Once he was sure that everything was fully mixed, he lifted Kagome's head and kissed her. He pushed her lips open with his tongue and forced all the mix into her mouth, he placed his hand against her lips when he pulled back.

"Swallow it all." Sesshoumaru's voice was firm and Kagome found that she would have done what he'd said, even if she hadn't wanted too. Feeling the burn and acrid taste of whatever he'd pushed into her mouth as it went down her throat, she hoped the pain would go away soon but knew it could get worse before it got better. Sesshoumaru was a demon after all.

Once he was sure she'd successfully swallowed it all he rubbed at her lips with his thumb as he spoke softly, "open your mouth and stick out your tongue Kagome." She wordlessly obeyed him and hissed in pain when he sliced open her tongue with his claw. He continued in his soft tone of voice, "now mix the blood with your saliva and infuse it with your miko power. Then do as I did with you."

Kagome nodded her head and swiftly pulled her tongue back inside and sucked on it, once her mouth was full of spit and blood she concentrated on mixing in her holy power. It took her a couple long minutes before she believed she'd done it correctly, she then cupped Sesshoumaru's face and kissed him hard.

A moan built at the back of her throat as she pushed the mixture into Sesshoumaru's open and waiting mouth. She just really hoped she had fulfilled Sesshoumaru's request. He was practically purring as he swallowed.

Once he was sure they both had done the ritual right, Sesshoumaru reached down and gripped Kagome's hip and pulled her closer. Kagome's wince of pain evolved into a moan of pleasure as she felt him move a little inside her and she began to wish he would move more.

She told him as much by rocking her hips against his and purring, "please...I meant it...I am ready my love..." Growling softly in response to that, Sesshoumaru ran his hands up and down Kagome's back, massaging the muscles as he went. He knew how this was going to affect her and he wanted her as relaxed as possible before he began.

Gripping her hips to hold her still, Sesshoumaru pulled away almost removing himself from her completely before he rolled his hips forward as slow as he was able. He wanted to make sure Kagome was well used to the feel of him before he pushed her even further. She gasped in a mix of pleasure and pain.

Pleased to see she was easing up a bit, Sesshoumaru moved a bit faster and Kagome dug her fingers into his shoulders. She breathed heavily into his ear as she mumbled his name. That alone almost had him going full tilt at the woman, but he reigned himself in before he began moving faster and harder.

Kagome felt something inside getting tighter and tighter, almost as if she was on the edge of something and about to tip off. Just a bit more and she would be in an entirely new world. As if reading her mind Sesshoumaru finally thrust up against her hard and held her in place, she felt her world explode as if fireworks went off behind her eyes.

Swirling in a world of pleasure she felt him move a bit before he too froze, a sudden rush of heat flowed into her and she knew he'd reached his peak as well. After a couple of seconds passed, Sesshoumaru shifted and she felt suddenly even fuller than before. She shifted a little at that and noticed that Sesshoumaru moved with her, as if they were locked together.

Her eyes widened as she recalled something she'd learned once about dogs mating. That when the male has finished, he locks with the female for a certain amount of time to guarantee no other male could get at her. Sesshoumaru was doing the same thing, the very thought of which made her face go even redder.

*Lemon End*

Sesshoumaru nudged her cheek with his nose after a moment and spoke heavily into her ear, "your mine now. Sleep now; you will soon need your rest." Kagome groaned when she felt Sesshoumaru rotate against her once more, sparking a sudden jolt of desire through her.

But she knew he was right, even as the toll of the past hours caught up to her. She felt her eyes drooping and pressed her face against Sesshoumaru's hard chest. "I love you Sesshoumaru." She kissed the flesh beneath her lips and let out a sigh as she allowed sleep to claim her.

Sesshoumaru tightened his grip upon Kagome as he felt her body go limp, sleep finally falling over her. He knew she must be exhausted and was pleased she hadn't tried to fight it. Kissing her forehead, he whispered his own endearments. All his life he'd wished to feel whole and now, after finally taking his mate, he knew that feeling.

Smiling to himself he loosened himself from her and then slid from the bed. He had one more task before he could join her in sleeps sweet oblivion. Walking to her bathroom, he wet a rag and returned to clean her up. Seeing her blood, her virgin's blood, had him swelling with male pride.

He was her first, last, and only. Forever.

Once he'd finished cleaning himself as well, he returned to his new mate and pulling the blankets up over the two of them, he pulled her close. With a soft purr, he soon joined her in sleep. Content and complete for the first time in his long life.
