"You're being moody again," Renji pouts, tugging on the shinigami captain's loose robes.

"And you're being very unbecoming," Byakuya chides his subordinate, as he pulls the clinging hand off. "Just lie still there for a while longer."

The vice captain pulls his arm back to his side, and then shifts his head and shoulders, which are resting on the older man's lap. He glares up at Byakuya, who's lost in his own private thoughts. "Oi, I've been laying here for long enough," he snaps, hoping to regain his captain's attention again. "Sunset's almost over now. You can even see all the stars out there. And hey, there's a shooting star!"

Byakuya looks down skeptically at the younger man. "You saw a shooting star?" he asks the redhead disbelievingly.

"Yea, of course," Renji answers off handedly, and then continues, "There's a ton of them falling down. They all just got tired of being still in the sky, so they decided to just take off."

Byakuya smirks at his impatient lover, and then graces him with a tender kiss. "Well then maybe I should do something so you don't follow their bad example," he silkily tells the younger man before claiming another kiss.

"Yea, maybe you should."
