Author's Notes: Another new poem, in a different format from the previous one. Angsty, Terra-esque.
----------------------------
: Misguided :
Innocent, trusting,
And yes, still naïve,
Had never been taught
What not to believe.
By lies and false eyes
Pulled in and deceived,
Abandoned to wonder
At truth unreceived.
Left as a fool
To suffer alone,
Assuming a folly
That should have been known.
Embracing a guilt
That was not her own,
Believing the torment
Was rightfully sown.
Emotions lay shattered
With innocence killed,
Her confidence broken
And hard to rebuild.
Thus so bitter anger
Through mistrust instilled
Shows plainly the void
That can never be filled.
